May just be the best autobiography I've read!! Funny yet genuine, I am a fan of Amy Poehler.

Didn't love it as much I had hoped I would, but it fulfills the Q for a challenge!!

Surrounded By Madness: A Memoir of Mental Illness and Family Secrets by Rachel Pruchno. Compelling and riveting, at times deeply disturbing, often poignant, and beautifully written, Surrounded By Madness tells the experiences of a woman who twice lost family members to serious mental illness. The book provides amazing insight into the turmoil and havoc that serious mental illness wreaks upon the family. Once you start reading Surrounded By Madness you won’t be able to put it down. Guaranteed.

Thank you, Leia. Happy holidays! :-)

I wish this one would've never ended. Loved all the characters-- well except one!! Wonderful way to end the reading year!

and

I tend to kind of lose interest in City of Ashes, so I picked up Hello, Darkness. It was hard to get into at first, as the norm for me when it comes to Sandra Brown but the books I've read and finished by her, I've always ended up loving...I just tend to get a bit bored sometimes...but I love the stories she weaves!
I'm trying to read myself out my long slump that I have been having off and on since the Summer of 2014 :)

I had to reshelve this one. It was a good book but I kept losing interest. Hopefully I will be able to pick it up again in the near future.

I'm looking for a good read!
Thank you

Three stories of famous historical men, one woman's family interspersed in between. The writing was wonderful and fluid and I would recommend this one to everyone.

I read the shoemaker's wife and I enjoyed the historical aspects of it. I believe it was inspired by author's grandparents' real life story. An enjoyable read

At the moment, I am reading All Dressed in White by Mary Higgins Clark. It is the third book in the new series she has started. It is interesting and well written.
