I read The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly in just a couple of hours. A simple but profound story about a barn hen called Sprout and her desire to be free. There are so many aspects in such a small book by this wonderful Korean author that we can all relate to. Hey, there goes sprout flying high in the sky ;)
I just finished
4 Stars!!!I have to admit-- I was hesitant about reading this series, as I loved the Hunger Games, and at first I thought this was just another dystopian series... But, I couldn't be more wrong and I'm so glad I finally read it! Now onto the next one...

Thanks for saying this. I've heard so many comparisons to Hunger Games for this book. I wasn't sure if I was going to read it or not.
Sure Lorrea! It's similar in the fact that it's YA and Dystopian-- but storylines and plot are different.

3 Stars!I listened to this one on audiobook-- Each chapter was narrated by different characters and jumped back and forth in different times. 3 brothers growing up on a farm in upstate New York. One morning, one of them is dead, and the other two are left as primary suspects...

I loved that book!"
Michelle, glad to hear that. I did, too and now I'm feeling sad that it's finished. I could have read a lot more. I might try the Alison Weir version now.
Just finished Ruby Red Sapphire Blue Emerald Green I enjoyed this series, even though it may be more of a YA read, which I didn't realize before starting the series. Some YA books can be a good read for adults too it just depends if the subject matter catches your interest. So I don't let that stop me. This was a quick light read.
I just started A Woman's Choice which I received from the author Annie Thomas for review. Historical fiction, this book looks like it will be an interesting book.
I am reading Pretty Little Liars..The first book in the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard..I got hooked on the show, thinking I wouldn't when I first decided to at least attempt to watch it because people kept talking about it and I thought it would be some silly little show...Boy was I wrong! lol (Hey, I like it anyway!) :-)
Lynn--Yes, there's a lot of great YA fiction out there that adults can enjoy, too. Favorites of mine include _The Book Thief_, _The Giver_, and yes, _The Fault in Our Stars_.
I'm reading Lionheart by Sharon Kay Penman; a historical fiction about Richard the Lionheart, ruler of England circa 1160.
I loved LIONHEART! I am finding Sharon Kay Penman to be as excellent a researcher & storyteller as reputed. Hope you enjoy!
Finished!!
-- 4.5 Stars!I really loved this one!: 1911- Coney Island, carnivals of the weird and mysterious, the Triangle Factory Fire, and two broken souls destined to be together...
