Scott Furlong (scottfurlongauthor) | 3 comments A children’s picture book for families living with PTSD, ‘Mummy Wears Blue Shoes.’ ‘Mummy Wears Blue Shoes’, is a strong, powerful, illustrated children’s book that looks at how difficult it can be to have to deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder within a family unit. A book that shows how to talk about this psychological injury with young children while using shoes as a metaphor for feelings.
