My Review:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Now, I want to read the small novel. Many people visited the covered bridge. Nothing like romance to make you feel better.

My favourite genre is contemporary fiction with a focus on female protagonists—with added focus on life literature, historical and romance. However I do read other genres if the stories intrique me.
I always read two books at a time - one in print and one as an Ebook. There’s just so many great stories out there.
I am currently reading The Bass Rock by Evie Wyld and Jennifer Probst’s The Start of Something Good.

I'll have to watch the movie Blue. It sounds much better than the book.

It is an incredible, heartfelt, and disturbing debut novel that gives a perspective of an Arabic immigrant family called Home Is Not a Country
This young author knows how to grab you in the beginning and not let go. There are so many important take-aways....being of a different culture, new to the US, shy, afraid. I LOVED the narrator.
I don't rate too many books 5 * but I did with this one.
Hope you enjoy.

The audio book is brilliant too.

The Satanic Verses by Salmon Rushdie for the first time is one of my current reads.
Also reading Winston Graham's Poldark series and the Catcher in the Rye by ???
Finally, I have just started Agincourt by ??? which was a gift from husband last Christmas.
Have I mentioned that I enjoy reading?

I'm a sucker for a cheery, happy-go-lucky book.
Not necessarily breezy Sunday reading to be honest...

The novel (actually a set of interconnected short stories) is Ursula LeGuin's _Changing Planes_--part of my yearslong project of reading all of LeGuin.
