Recently, I finished Murmur of the Bees which was very enjoyable. Right now, I am reading The Beautiful Ones by Prince.
Hello,I am currently reading Quicksand by Iris Johansen. It is a Forensic Suspense/Thriller. Prior to this, I read Stalemate by the same author. Another book that I enjoyed recently was the Firm by John Grisham. It too is a Suspense/Thriller.
After Quicksand, I am going to read "And Then There Was None" recommended by Goodreads and Caste from Ophra's book club pick.
Has anyone read any of these books that they would like to discuss? Let me know, and when I finish my read, we can discuss.
Have a good day.
I am reading health related nonfiction books. One of them is a great book to maintain weight during the holiday season and also when we are confined indoors due to Covid19.A simple solution to america's weight problem by Sukhraj S. Dhillon
I’m making my way through the Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J. Maas and my other book (I can’t ever just have one) is To The Lighthouse by Virginia Wolf.

First review of this book I've stumbled on. (Now I see there are others.) I had such mixed feelings about this one. I was thrilled to read into a culture that I have not been exposed to, and I think the author has a wicked, sly sense of humor. But I also found the writing and plotting to be uneven. I think you feel somewhat the same way? Still, really glad I read it!
Reading The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante. I think this author a great of example of 'you love her or hate her.' It's hard to feel in between. Her writing style is incredibly intense and packed with strong emotion on every page. It can be exhausting--but also enthralling.

My name is Caylin, and I believe that you may like Salt to the Sea. It is a really good romance historicalish fiction book!
Just finished reading Just Mercy. Currently reading Madonna in a Fur Coat, and the fourth book in the Dune series, God Emperor.
Good Morning Everyone, I am currently reading "Think Like A Monk".One of the lessons states, "On the off chance that you unintentionally water both the seeds and the weed close to them, the seeds will now develop, and you will have the option to recognize the weeds later down the line. You should keep on watering your seeds." Q/ It has been proven that weeds grow faster than seeds. How then does one prevent the weed from strangling the seed and leaving little room for growth?
Currently reading The Killer's Shadow. Written by a man in the Behavioral Analysis Unit it reminds me a little of Criminal Minds, without the blood and gore. Scary the way some people's thinking is skewed. www.writeradvice.com
