I'm sorry. I looked for a friendlier bug to have walk around, but couldn't find one. lol
Yes, you may use books that you've already read this month. I was out of town at the end of last month into this beginning of this one and didn't get the challenge up before.

I'm in!!!! I am going to do a spell it out thing :) For June we wanted to create a challenge that was a little different. What we came up with is the June bugs and the Jitter Bug Reading Challenge. How does this one work? Well, you may:
-- Do a traditional spell-it-out challenge by
selecting a word or words from the following bug or dance lists. Then spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name. As always, if the first letter of a title starts with 'A', 'An', 'The', etc., you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word. FYI, you can opt to do a combination of any of the above
Example of a Spell-it-out:
T - Tom Clancy author or Patriot Games
I - Irreconcilable Differences by Kiki Howell
K - Knight, Theta in The Diviners by Libba Bray
-- Read books which have covers with different bugs or people dancing different dances
Hint: tattoos of butterflies and other insects count
Tour de Force The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) Rainshadow Road (Friday Harbor, #2)
-- Read books which talk of people participating in different dances
Example--The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
Hint: Many historical books have a ball someone goes to and they talk of certain dances being performed such as a waltz
-- Read books where there is talk of bugs--say ants at a picnic, a person being stung by a bee, a person being bugged by a fly, etc.
-- Read books with the name of a dance or a bug or the word bug or dance in the title

Note: You may mix or match or pick one over the other option. Just make sure we know the how the book is associated with the challenge if it isn't obvious. Just remember to have fun.
