Looking for title of novel about a single mother who is invited by a psychologist to join a community for ten years with several couples with children as an experiment in a new way to raise children. The founder is an orphan who has received a grant to support his theory. It ends with the single mom marrying the founder of the community which has failed.

On the possibly solved one, we don't normally move to possibly solved unless the OP requests it (or they do it themselves). In this case we would wait for the OP to respond to the book suggestion.
I posted with that in mind, that a moderator might reach out to the OP and confirm. The thread is from 2015 and the OP was positive to the suggestion given but they never posted again to confirm.
