Very cute, and nicely informative too - loads of footnotes providing historical detail. The author has a fun voice!

Tirion is a 10-year-old who has gone off to work for the first time, and is NOT pleased to find that her main duty is that of spider catching in the manor house! This is a journal of her first few months or so at work, where she deals with spiders and one very annoying - but kind, underneath it all - spit-boy. The manor it's set in, Llancaiach Fawr, is apparently these days a kind
