Should I wait until someone finds it in a book, or just mark it as solved, not pinning it to a book, and forget about it? I don't even know for sure that it was ever published in a book; while many of Dave Barry's columns were, I personally only read it in the newspaper column.
Endgame is on the "Asked For More Than Once" bookshelf, but linked to the same thread twice. It's only been sought for once.
The wrong book is marked as the subject of this post. It should be about just plain Gooney Bird Greene, not the three-book set.

Again, Endgame has only been requested once, but it's on the "Asked for More than Once" shelf, and this post has been linked to twice.
Well, the username was male, and basically this person was asking about a book in someone else's thread. Not only someone else's thread, but a thread moved to Now We'll Never Know. So, wrong thread, in a part of the group where no one would see it. I just used italics on 'person' to be nice. I really meant idiot.

I think there was some miscommunication here. One moderator told the OP to start a new thread (it turned out to be two books) but another moderator deleted the new thread (granted, it was two years later).

I just checked the issue of Jay's Journal that you mentioned in post 500. Apparently another moderator has fixed it so that the "asked for more than once" is no longer shown.
It could also be that one of us moderators added that designation and forgot to paste the connection, meaning it could have been asked for more, but it doesn't show the links.
