When my sister takes my books, I paint her toys in glitter nail polish. When the rest of my family takes my books, I give them the silent treatment and write undelivered hate notes about them. When a friend take my books...I have been known to be held back from strangling them.

First: Tell them to put it down. If they don't listen, strangle, strangle, maybe even tell their parent for a dramatic effect. I know telling their mom makes it sound childish, but it works miracles. Also, I would probably bite, scratch, and strangle, as I have been known to do.
