There isn't just one. They live in groups, like the grandfather all the way to the grandchildren. They are believed to be either an unknown species of ape, or just not evolved humans. They have been around for about a million years.

Bigfoots are like big gorillas, but they have more human like posture. They slouch, but they walk up right. They are covered in fur, different colors depending on the age and area they live in. They got the name "Bigfoot" because of their track size. They have a very large stride, and a average male's foot is about 10 to 12 inches. They live in deep forests and some times vast valleys. They are rare, but there is estimated about a 100 in North America.

I know a lot. Even though a lot of the proof is baloney, some of it is interesting. Yetis? Simply a Bigfoot that lives in cold climates. Their white coats are to help blend in. They are believed to be rarer, and slightly bigger. Their feet are pretty big, so they work like snow shoes in the deep snow. Average: about 18 inches. Bigfoot males are about 6 to 7 feet tall. Yetis: About 8 to 9 feet tall.

first, you spelled bologna wrong,second, yetis are yetis not bigfoots.
My dad was real big on this kinda thing and dragged me into it. I didn't believe at first, but after learning about them for about 3 years, you have a change of opinion. :-P
@Sarah: No, but there are some ancient legends from the Natives about a creature larger than bear, and as smart as human. And there are some carvings on caves that seemed to be of a large creature, looking similar to a bear, yet with some human features.

Sasquatch is actually just the more scientific name for Bigfoot. They are really the exact same thing. :-P

@Sarah: No, but there ..."
umm... im pretty sure those were gorillas or monkeys... not bigfoots...
Also, they where from the Anasazi tribe. I doubt there are gorillas in Arizona/Colorado. ;-) Also, the cave drawings were from the Montana North Dakota area.
