ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) well done Jane. I still have 5 left and running outta time since I'm rereading a Harry Potter book not on my challenge lists. lol

message 162: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Oh, I love Harry Potter.... if only I could just fit it in as one of my remaining categories...

message 163: by ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (last edited May 20, 2009 11:42AM) (new)

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I can sneak a few HP's into the PNR half of Men We Love quarterly challenge. I figure Harry's a hunter in the last book, there's a werewolf as a major character in the third book, Prisioner of Azkaban. Any book has witches or wizards in them. lol But I can't work it into any list for May!. lol I started watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on tv and quickly switched to my unedited DVD instead. But then as this is one of my favorite HP books, I missed all the extra details from the book so started it. On pg 232 of 734.

Perhaps I could use Tales of Beedle the Bard, which are wizard world fairy tales for the Mother Goose category.

OH! OH! Just had a thought. As I'm reading Goblet of Fire and the Quidditch World Cup as well as the Tri-Wizard Tournament is in this book.... I could use it as my sports/athlete book??? Please! lol

message 164: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Makes sense to me (quidditch is a sport, made up but still a sport...), I'm having troubles with the sport category myself. I've got one running book lined up, but I just don't feel like reading it... Bummer.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I had Playing for Pizza by John Grisham on my list for a sports book but I'm not in the mood to read it. Glad my 700+ page book will count towards something.

Kasia 9 done - I still have the sport category left, and I cannot get a hold of the Pick-it-for-me book, which worries me some...

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I'm going to have to change the group's shelf one I think. It's a new release and I'm next on the waiting list at the library. It was due back yesterday but hasn't been returned yet and I'm running outta time. Probably for me is most of the uploaded books on the groups shelves are PNR which I don't read.

message 188: by Kasia (new)

Kasia yes PNR rules here, but you should be able to find something... at least I hope you will ;D

I'm gonna go search through it again. I have Poison Study that's on the group shelves but it's kinda long. I'm going to be very busy next week (family garage sale) so trying not to pick anything too long.

There sould be the following books on there lol
Julie Garwood - One Red Rose, One Pink Rose, One White Rose as I read those for one of the challenges, and I'm sure you said you had them

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) Thanks Jane. I do have those. I think they're pretty short too. I was just trying to figure out... I think For The Roses comes first (which is thick) and then these three follow. Hate to read them out of order. lol

message 193: by Jane(Janelba) (new)

Jane(Janelba) (janelba) | 769 comments Yep the roses comes first but I don't have that book so I read the three roses ones and didn't feel I missed anything lol but I can understand you not wanting to skip it

message 194: by Jane(Janelba) (new)

Jane(Janelba) (janelba) | 769 comments You could read Slow Hands from the Harlequin 60th Anniversary freebies as I added that one to the group shelf too from my What's in a name challenge.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) OKay. I checked to see if you had added Ella Enchanted. Someone beat you to it. But that's pretty short too. Just have to find time this week as I'll be busy getting ready for the family garage sale. (It's mostly my parents stuff, but they're dragging me into helping all week and the sale starts on my birthday - totally ruining that for me!!!)

Since I may not finish Harry Potter in time, I'm reading the smaller Quidditch Through the Ages book for my sports book. It also fills the Q on my A-Z book titles challenge list.
