I’m reading “Insomnia”, “The Testaments” (M. Atwood) and during my daily walks I’m listening to “Hostage” (C. Mackintosh)
I'm listening to Detransition, Baby and reading The Starless Sea, I started Survivor, but the font is tiny and there isn't enough daylight, so I put it away until spring. The joys of old eyes.

Hello, i'm reading 3 books at the same time....the 2 first books are from quebec authors and the other one is of course Desolation of Stephen King!!
I'm reading Under the Skin by Michel Faber for another group, and I went in blind. I didn't realize it was horror. Pretty gross, but really good!
I just finished Dune and it's so amazing! I'm definitely reading the other parts too, but firstly I'm going to start Shadow and Bone series I have been delaying for so long.

Personally, I read all the rest of the series, but the next two really are the rest of that arc, and those written after just didn't live up to the beginning for me. Especially when his son, Brian Herbert, takes over.

It's one of those books that becomes more and more interesting as you read. Didn't Frank Herbert write all the six books in the franchise? Or the first three are the "original" trilogy and the rest are additional books?
Herbert did write the first six, but in my opinion it's the first three that tell one arc and the next three just take place in that world he so beautifully built.
Here's the first two chapters of Gwendy's Final Task read by King and Chizmar.https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=des...
I’m almost finished with The Throat. It’s the 3rd book in the Blue Rose Trilogy by Peter Straub…. I’m not really sure if I enjoyed this story or not. It was very confusing. Maybe other readers could give me their opinions ?

Nope, two totally different things! I had not heard of the movie until you mentioned it and I looked it up.
