**Winter Reading Challenge - 2013**
The Antipodean winter solstice is on June 21st, but if you round it down to the nearest month (and who cares about days, anyway?), then it's the first nanosecond of June. That said, time is subjective, and also subject to relativistic fluctuations, and nothing should ever be stipulated numerically without an associated confidence interval and a probability (I'm going to say, 100%) of falling within that interval, which I'll specify to be two days (plus or minus). So I declare that it is winter. Now. (Where you are.) Any attempt to be more specific would just be chronologically obsessive. Also, I insist that the year is somewhere between 1712 and 2034, A.D., with an extremely high probability.
Pfft. Autumn and Spring are too close to Summer. Give me 15 degree temperatures January through December please.
Why do you live in Australia then Liam...off you go to Antarctica or Canada, or something similar;)
How do I score a line through a book read? Once read of course - i haven't cheated and started early!

It is one of my all time favourite books and I re read it every couple of years. I've also passed in onto a lot of my firends kids, who have also enjoyed it.

Congratulations Elaine! I suggested in the Autumn thread you only choose half, see how you go and go from there. That way you are taking pressure off yourself. Good luck:)

Thanks Brenda...yes I just saw your post. This one is a bit easier as all of the books I've chosen so far are on my TBR list and a few are part of the June challenge as well!!! I'm just really stumped with number 1 but I'll wait and see what others come up with.
