June means Summer is here...and so is another Toppler!

And would paranormal mysteries, such as Wendy Roberts's or Juliet Blackwell's series, be acceptable?

4. Books can only be used for one task in the Toppler, but can count toward the monthly challenge, the group theme read, and the alphabet yearly chal..."
If Cathie, Lynn, and Pragya read The Great Gatsby for the Round Robin, I could read it for the Movie Task. Cathie, Lynn & Pragya couldn't read it for both the round robin and the movie task.

Go on over to Camp Happy and claim a bink!"
Yeah! We have Suzie in our camp. :)

Jim Butcher definitely counts. The others show up on fantasy shelves, so I would say yes, they count too.

Joe - you're in Camp Amly, so go have a s'more!"
See you over there Joe! :)

Naomi - head on over to Camp Amly and grab a bunk and some s'mores!"
Jmom, you've not added Naomi to our camp list on message one.

More questions from me
What if we think something has been done better? Can we write about that instead?
Also while looking into this movie task I thought that I could maybe do War Horse which I purchased a little while back because I'm going to see the show in November and thought it would be good to read before I went.
On my Kindle it has 182 pages, perfect I thought! Then I checked Goodreads which says 98 pages!?! O_O
I have my kindle on normal setting, no large font honest! I don't understand how it can be so different?
Does this mean I can't use it because of the Goodreads count?

It's been busy around here, so I haven't been on GR as much as usual and just remembered to check the June Toppler info. The week should work well for me--the following one I'll be at a conference and will have less flexibility to create reading time.

Task - Read a book that’s in a diary, letter, journal, or similar format only includes letters or emails and texts would work too? For example - Something like this Series?

Cathie wrote: "Ewwwww!!!!!! ALMETA!! Definitely not nice!! (She says as she runs away screaming!!)"
I don't understand!
I was testing inserting an image, and it was of a spider. Funny thing is I can't get it to show up for me, so I didn't think anyone else could see it.
It is pretty funny though, 'cause I intended it for Cathie eventually, since she has been sneaking into Camp Jingalo.
Wonder why I can't see it when others can?
ETA:
Found a different URL, which seems to be working.

I don't see it either!
Guess I'll try a different one, so others can get the experience.

I know the page numbers are usually different between the actual book and e-reader versions, but that is a lot. Unfortunately, you have to go by the 98 pages. War Horse is a children's book, so the page length seems right. Sorry to mess up your plan :(

Lara, you're in Camp Happy.
I'm going to have to dosome adjusting of that fruit machine. I think someone from Camp Happy has been messing with it. Cathie??? LOL

Yet, letters, texts and e-mails are fine. Attachments is a good book using e-mails if anyone's interested.

You know this means another camp raid don't you? Bwahahaha....

YAY Charlotte, you're in Camp Jingalo! Come on over and grab a bunk. We'll have some s'mores and drinks ready for you.

This is one of the reasons I hated camp...waking up in the tent with spiders everywhere. YUCK!

Yeah! We have Lara. The fruit machine is smiling on Camp Happy. Maybe it's because we fed it rum to mix in with the fruit.

But shhhhh...

How did you know I was thinking of reading Attachments, Jmom? Mind reading, huh? You got a fruit machine for that too? :)

Scav Hunt. Are we doing it individually (getting points for our team each photo we get)? Or as a team are we finding one of each item on the list?

So 3 members can read Great Gatsby for the round robin task. While another member can read it for the Movie Task?"
Your understanding is right! As long as the other member isn't part of the round robin, they can read the book for another task.
Cathie - A book is chosen for the round robin by some of the campers, not by the camp, so that doesn't limit it.
