That's lovely Mark:)
I went for a change up with my last read and chose Accidental Hitman for a comedy thriller. Loved it. Some real laugh-out-loud moments.
I'm about to start two new books to start off July; Consider Phlebas, a Culture book by Iain M. Banks and Sharpe's Havoc, number 7 in the Sharpe books by Bernard Cornwell, as well as continuing to read The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by Howard Pyle.

Just finished
Fantastic psychological thriller that brought on emotions that I have never experienced from words on a page before. It is disturbing, graphic yet heart wrenching and enthralling all at once. Probably made my top three favorite books of all time. I don't really know how to describe it other than it just really moved me. He has already won awards for this debut novel.

Also, only 99 cents on kindle, nook, and ibooks right now! Give it a read.
I just finished Eye for An Eye by Ben Coes. This 4th Dewey Andreas book was a fast paced thrill ride.http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...

Thanks Shirley...it sounds amazing. I have just downloaded it:)
With the recent death of Richard Matheson, I read both I AM LEGEND and THE SHRINKING MAN. Both are from the 1950s, and both are excellent.

I have read that book too, Shirley! No one really has heard of it beacause it is new but I thought it was EXCELLENT. I agree it was a graphic read but so powerful in its prose. I have told everyone I know too. I cried and screamed at its pages! I LOOVED IT. :) I am a sucker for crime thrillers and I really enjoyed the family point of view. Very well-written for a debut.

I'll have to look for ECHOES. Thanks!
Just about finished with Deception by Dan Brown and have really enjoyed it! Am about to review it and would recommend it for anyone who likes this type within the historically based genre.

I just finished A Hostage to Heritage by Suzanne Adair. It was an excellent mystery/suspense set during the Revolutionary War.

Started reading Night Film and all I can say is Wow!Have read that Elmore Leonard had a stroke last week.
Just finished Dan Brown's Inferno. Am I jaded, or was that a short story padded with high quality travelogue? A thriller it ain't.Peace, Seeley

I was underwhelmed by his last one, THE LOST SYMBOL.

You might try THE KEY TO REBECCA, by Ken Follett, afterwards. Good spy novel, with the Du Maurier novel figuring into the plot.

I'm sad to hear about Elmore Leonard. Such a great writer.

Sounds like he's a fighter. "Guardedly optimistic" but he is 87.

the only thing Dan Brown wrote was a book that posed the question: what if Jesus had a daughter? It was a great concept, otherwise it was an empty book. I quit reading him ... then had to read the last two just to say I had.

Dan Brown has just got to come up with something different. I can't believe this book hasn't bombed. After I read it, I was sure it would.
Brown CAN NOT come up with anything different, as he STOLE the original idea for Da Vinci Code, he is just truly awful.
I am close to finishing A Man Without Breath, one of Philip Kerr's Bernie Gunther novels I just finished Prague Fatale, so when I finish my current book I'll be caught up with the series. it has been interesting to see Gunther's detective career develop from the 1930's into the 1950's. I don't know the survivability of someone as vocal and opinionated as is Gunther, but it I have enjoyed watching his falling into situations and getting himself out.
I just finished Ethan Justice: Origins by Simon Jenner. Its a great read; starts out in the middle of action and doesn't let up. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I just finished bad blood by John Sanford which was an excellent read; now I'm starting guilty wives by James Patterson which I've been trying to read for months... Happy reading to all !!!!
I just finished It by Stephen King. I absolutely loved it! My second favorite by King. After a period of contemplating that book, I'm now reading Split Second by David Baldacci.
