Just finished Princess of the Midnight Ball and am working on Touching Darkness, Airman, and rereading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Is this your first time reading Harry Potter or is it a re-read?
Definite re-read. I've never reread any of them. I'm trying the audiobook. I just want to read the last book that's already a movie, watch that movie, then read the book that is coming out as a movie this summer.
Oh okay. I was just wondering if it was something you have read before. Are you enjoying them?
If this is a repeat, I'm sorry. I am reading Anne of Green Gables. I love it! I had no idea it would be a page-turner.
I am going to read that one soon! I have it checked out from the library already! :) I look forward to reading it and hopefully we can exchange views.
I finished The Goose Girl (LOVED it) the other day and I started Graceling yesterday. Based on what I've read so far, I think it's going to be really good. I'm still working on People of the Book (audio), but I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would.

I added this one to my TBR... looks good! :D

Just started Rosamunde Pilcher's Flowers in the Rain...my gramma recommended her to me, and usually she's spot on with book recommendations. Have any of you read anything of hers?
I haven't. You will have to let us know if it is any good. Is it romance?
I've heard her described as a "kinder and gentler Danielle Steel." The book I'm reading now is a collection of short stories, and some of them involve romance...but so far, nothing like those harlequin novels. So far I really enjoy her style. It's like curling up in bed on a rainy day...just really comfortable :)
i'm reading Seeds of Hope by Soecy Gummels...(very dramatic backround story...)almost done reading it:)
Yesterday, started Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger (audio), but I am also readin the book as it goes along and its word for word. Should finish this today. Then I will carry on reading The Angel's Game - Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
Jess - sounds like a good read! Maybe I will try something of hers.
Fiona - I read Time Traveler's Wife not too long ago. Are you enjoying it?
I finished Lover Avenged this weekend and am now reading Ink Exchange and continuing Little Women.

I was until the tape player chewed the tape lol. Awaiting the new copy now.
Oh no! That sucks... :( Well, hope you get to continue soon.
Personally i don't really like tapes because the person reading it always sound different than you expect. i hope your's comes in quickly though! You sound like you enjoy it!
I've only listened to a couple tapes. I thought the guy that did Harry Potter was pretty good.
I think it was Jim Dale. My husband and I just started listening to LOTR on CD and this guy is pretty good as well... read by Robert Inglis.
Anytime... :) That's what this site is for: recommendations, reading, and fun!

Will finish The Woman in Black - Susan Hill. Will read The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips - Michael Morpurgo.
I am almost finished with Ink Exchange and then will continue with The Graveyard Book and The Au Pairs.
I finished the Midnighters series, am still working on Airman and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and am about halfway through The Fairy Godmother.
I have the midnighter series on my TBR shelf. Was it good?
I loved them, although I'm sad it was only three books long. The last book left you wanting to know more about what will happen in the future.
Awesome. I will have to read those. I read his Uglies series and enjoyed it.
I am reading I Capture the Castle. It is good so far. If I can finish it by the end of the month, I'll tell you what I think in the I Capture the Castle folder. Actually, I can do that no matter when I finish it.
Finished The Fairy Godmother and My Swordhand Is Singing last night and am now working on Fool Moon. Still working on Harry Potter too.
Finished The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips - Michael Morpurgo. Now will read Puberty Blues - Kathy Lette.
Finally finished the hilarous Puberty Blues - Kathy Lette & Gabrielle Carey. Will now read A Home For Rose - Jon Katz. He wrote the bestselling book A Dog Year.
i just finished summer of the monkeys by wilson rawls. i had no idea that he was the same one who wrote where the red fern grows until i was almost finished. i thought it seemed a little familiar... :)
I have just finished Whistleblower - Tess Gerritsen. Going to carry on readin A Home For Rose - Jon Katz.
Just finished Flowers in the Rain by Rosamunde Pilcher...I'm going to start three books next: Legend of the Blue Owl by Wayne Parrish, The Black Flower A Novel of the Civil War by Howard Bahr, and Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin.
Did you get Something Borrowed from GR? I got that one, but I also have books checked out from the library so I have to wait to read it.
