Woo hoo! I just ate nachos so this is kind of fitting for me, hehe!
Moderators of Nothing but Reading Challenges wrote: "Well, you can come back to it later, Teresa. ☺"Bwahaha! Come back after you gave me incentive to keep trying? I don't think so, LOL! I ended up finding the one I kept missing but it turned out to fit a category I thought I was finished with, so then I had to figure out which one in that category was the one that belonged elsewhere. LOL
You know you're on the boards too much when you dream about them! I had a dream about this one and the green cover challenge, LOL!
ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) wrote: "You know you're on the boards too much when you dream about them! I had a dream about this one and the green cover challenge, LOL!"Too funny!! I still keep seeing green covers when I close my eyes :)
Steven wrote: "No more green covers!!! MY EYES!!!!Two green cover games... someone likes green!"
I know, right?! We need something more subdued now...like uh..pink? I don't know, LOL! I guess there really isn't a good color to look at for a long period of time.
I really did like the Mean Green puzzle, though! That must have taken a long time to put together. I kept wishing I could enlarge the covers, though, hehe.
Next Mean Green solvers, in order:
Diane - Mango Tango
Barbara★ - Mauvelous
Steven - Mango Tango
guacamole times three!

From green book covers to guacamole pictures. This is a very green thread, LOL!! I'm not really even a fan of guacamole but argh, those pictures make me want Mexican food so bad. I'm like one of Pavlov's dogs when I see pictures of anything remotely Mexican food (i.e., even if it's not authentic, or something I don't like). Okay, that's it. I'm going for a walk to the library to return books and get a few others out and to get my mind off the foods in this thread!! LOL! Think I'll eat a couple of
during the walk.
I will share my guacamole with others. I'm not a fan... even though avacado is a superfood and chock full of nutrition. Only time I eat avacado is when it's in a sushi roll I like haha.
Teresa, I normally like Mexican food... but I gorged myself silly at Moe's Cinco de Moe's special yesterday, and am sick to my stomach from it all today... so I'll avoid it for now! Stupid holidays... always make me eat!
ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) wrote: "We need something more subdued now...like uh..pink? I don't know, LOL! I guess there really isn't a good color to look at for a long period of time."Maybe white? But oh boy, then the covers would all blend together! LOL

That's exactly what I thought, Barb! I think white seems like a good idea but then...bam...snow storm! lol
Rebecca wrote: "Don't give Lisa Kay any ideas LOL!"I don't think we need to -- she comes up with enough ideas on her own :)
Rebecca wrote: "Don't give Lisa Kay any ideas (although blue would be pretty...) LOL!"I thought so, too! (Blue would be pretty)
LOL!No, I've been working on a match game for books with flowers on the cover. They will be in column, and fewer of them, so it should be easier.

– each of a pair of globular organs in the head through which people and vertebrate animals see
– nights before holidays
– flat and smooth

This puzzle is so green that I find myself with a case of the 'green-eyed monster' and 'green with envy' at how this was able to be put together. I think I'm too 'green behind the gills' to be able to work it out so I'll fly off to 'greener pastures' because 'the grass is always greener on the other side'.

Yay, another word find!!! Double happiness between the doublet and the word find, yay! This almost makes up for the fact that I left my book at work tonight. Blast it! I was hoping to finish it today, grrr. I won't be able to get it until late tonight and then I won't be able to read, except on my lunch break, boo hoo.
