This is a book I honestly think just about everyone in this group will love. It's a non-traditional take on fairy tales, like Stardust. It's about a tomboy princess who prefers to go live with the dragons than live and act like a traditional princess is supposed to live and act.

Kevin (manchesterunited) In keeping with my promise to Fiona...this is on my "to read" shelf. :)

That's just about the most disgusting title imaginable.

message 84: by Kandice (new)

Kandice Snogging is just kissing!

message 85: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) LOL!!! When I read the title, I saw "anuses" instead of "angus" and I thought it sounded disgusting too :P

Now I just think it sounds funny :)

Elizabeth (Alaska) Georgia's memoirs might say snogging is kissing, but I think it's a stage or two beyond that.

message 87: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) Elizabeth (Alaska) wrote: "Georgia's memoirs might say snogging is kissing, but I think it's a stage or two beyond that."

the definition of snogging is "kissing and cuddling", so its not really open for interpretation.

message 88: by Adam (new)

Adam | 37 comments So many to choose from. Maybe we should do one vote to get the lists to a top 5 and then another to finish it off :)

message 89: by Kate (new)

Kate (kathrynlouwca) That is a smart idea, Adam!

message 90: by Sara ♥ (last edited Apr 15, 2009 01:38PM) (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) I've read the book--it's not a gross book.

Georgia has an entire snogging scale, that starts with "sticky eyes," "holding hands," "arm around," and "goodnight kiss".

To see the entire scale, visit the author's website: http://www.georgianicolson.com/extras...

Elizabeth (Alaska) OK, let's take "snogging" down to the "bonk" thread. Maybe it doesn't have the meaning I thought.

I will be posting a voting thread as soon as I get the polls up and running for these. Do not cast votes here, they will not count.

message 95: by Sara ♥ (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) My goodness, this is going to be difficult! All those great YA books! And I haven't heard of half the adult ones, so I'll have to do quite a bit of research before I vote...

Carol (caroldias) hahahahaha so true Sara. I´ll start the research now lol

So, the polls are up, and I just want everyone to please go back through the polls and make sure you see your nominations there.

If it isnt there, check your post first before calling it out. If you didnt follow the rules for posting, it isnt going to be added.

If you did post correctly, and I overlooked it by accident, then I will go back and add it.
