SOLVED. YA: girls school where the girls have no names, just numbers as identity. [s]

Okay, I read this book a few months ago and here's what I can remember from it:

A young girl between the ages of 13 and 16 was taken from her home during an invasion. She was supposed to be hiding but they found her. When she arrives at the orphanage that's actually a slave house disguised as a school, her name is taken away from her and she is assigned a number. The girls all give each other nicknames though and she's called something like Brave or Courage because she's little in stature but she always fights back. She's friends with some girl who they call Stargazer or something along those lines who can see the future of sorts. She predicts the school burning down and the main character dying in the battle. The main character decides to try to escape the school to find help in the town (I think this is a dystopian type story). She escapes through the garbage truck, taking an item from one of the girls to return to said girls family to prove she's telling the truth. She discovers that no one believes her but she tried to sneak out every night and eventually convinces people to realise what's going on.

I don't want to ruin the book so I'll stop there. If anyone has ANY ideas at all, please help

I just shelved it. What's interesting is that there are several more popular (overall on GR) results for 'keyword search -> fearless' but *this* one is already on our shelves from a previous request. Must be a memorable/ provocative book!
