I picked this up a Walmart a couple of weeks ago. Let me know what you think of it.

The Coven Book Two has kind of been put on the backburner while I try to finish the historical fiction book I started in April. I like this series so far, it reminds me of when I was in High School a bit so I can relate. I don't read a lot of witchy books so this was a nice change of pace too. I'll get back to it probably sometime this weekend.
I also sort of started Sunshine but I've gotten discouraged with all the negative reviews. : (
I think I'll either read it this month or it'll end up in the pile to sell on eBay.

Oh, no, I don't have it yet. But I'll let you know. Everyone seems to be loving the book.

I just started Faerie Tale by Raymond Feist and am loving it so far. It's actually pulling me away from my other book, Gale Force, which I am also REALLY enjoying. Life's hard when you have to make the decision of which book to read between two great books!

I am about to sit down with Gale force and am really trying to not even crack Feists book. I already know I like other things he wrote so I am looking forward to it and hearing you rave is making it harder!
Those two books are on the top of the pile, followed by:
I also have Thinner
Night Rising
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Dayhunter
Agents of Light and Darkness

I just finished Undead and Unwelcomeand will be starting Skin Trade and Once Dead, Twice Shy. I am busy this coming weekend but I will use the excuse that I'm sick so I can finish my books. *cough* ;)

I LOVE

It is in my top 20 books ever! I like the way she writes about race, prejudism, gender issues, and asks us to quesstion society in ways that in no way detract from a magiclly compelling tale. I mean it is easy to read.
Anyway let us know what you think when your done.
We lost a master when Ms. Butler died!!
I think this is a classic.

What did you think of UNDEAD & UNWELCOME? After it and the one b/4 it, I'm not going to be in any hurry to read future books in the series. I'll be interested to hear what you think about SKIN TRADE & ONCE DEAD, TWICE SHY. After SKIN TRADE I will not be suckered into another Anita Blake book. I liked ONCE DEAD, TWICE SHY well enough to read another in the series when it comes out.

Just in:
Skin Trade, The Road, Street Magic, Second Skin
I need steely control to keep to the books I am already reading.
I haven't read Street Magic or Second Skin but I read both The Road & Skin Trade last month. Skin Trade was good - kind of a return to the first Anita books. The Road was excellent! No paranormal elements but a real creepy read. If you're in the mood for a dark book I can't think of many darker.
Lily - Read Street Magic first. It's awesome!

HMM I LOVE ME SOME BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD!! Series is delicious.

I've read every one of the books in this series and I have no idea why. I haven't liked a single one of them and Jenks is the only character I like.

How was
Demon Mistress. I was eying it at the library when I went to pick up my reserved books. (the put the new releases right there in the front.
It was a serious act of controll not to get it, but I have so many good books right here, I said no, for now.
I finished Faerie Tale by Raymond E. Feist last night and completely enjoyed it. It was a great creepy read with lots of old fairy tales/stories mixed in. I'm going to find more things by Feist to read!
I have been on waiting list at the library for several books - they all came in at once so now I have the daunting task of choosing which order to read them in...
Bridge of Birds A Novel of an Ancient China That Never Was
Black and White
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side
I'm thinking Brige of Birds first - there's a HUGE waiting list for it and that way I can pass it along faster. BUT I've been waiting for Black & White for a while & Jessica's Guide is our group read! Decisions, decisions...

Demon Mistress wasn't my favorite book in the series but I still enjoyed it. I felt that Menolly was shorted in this book.

Just finished Lover Unbound & American Gods today.
Now I'm just reading Bridge of Birds - a great story so far!

Bridge of Birds is on my TBR shelf, I can't wait to read it!

I loved that series. There's so much going on that I bet you are able to pick up on new little details in every re-read.

The first 2 are actually kinda slow. She has to introduce you to her wizarding world and all her characters in the first book. By the 3 & 4th she's really getting her plot rolling. My favorites are 3 thru 6. Give them another try. You don't have to read them all at once. Those of us reading them as they came out had to wait years between books. (I didn't start reading them til the first movie came out.) I avoided reading them at first simply because they were popular. That didn't mean they were good. But after I saw the first movie, I wanted to read the book and the books are so much better than the movies which have to leave so much out. The author got better the more she wrote, and she could do more with the characters as they aged.

I'm reading Mistborn The Final Empire - well listening to it anyway & my iPod just died with only 2 tracks left so now I'm tied to my computer by the ears until I finish!
