It isn't too bad so far. I'm finding it really hard to find books I just can't put down. I started that way with the Sookie Stackhouse books, but found the last couple not so great so I haven't finished the series.

Have you tried J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series (Dark Lover) or Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series (Moon Called)?
Also, I think that the Rachel Morgan/The Hollows series just gets better and better with each book!

I did read Dark Lover and it was enjoyable enough. I haven't borrowed anymore from the library yet, but intend too.
Moon Called is on my list so I will have to try it as well.
Thank you!

and meant to just take a taste of Hunger Games

still reading The fall

and Shakespear Undead

Chakara, I really liked that story. What do you think of it?"
didnt get to finish it yet

I'm currently reading Dark Enchantment and I'm about half way through. It started of good, but the middle is dragging. I'm hoping it picks back up.

This is book 1 of a new trilogy that I can't say enough good things about.

I also enjoyed WHO DO, VOODOO by Rochelle Staab. That's darker than ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, but I really enjoyed it, too. First book in the series, and it sets up a nice community of characters. The narrative character is a skeptic, until things happen that she can't explain. It deals with voodoo, among other woo-woo aspects, and that always interests me (maybe because I have an unused voodoo doll that I ought to put to use). Recommended.

Magical Alienation: A Samantha Brennan and Annabelle Haggerty Magical Mystery

If this keeps up, the second in the series is available now too Vampire Blues and I'll be starting that next.
Even better, they're priced at $.99 each on Amazon right now.

Who can resist a chubby, geeky vampire that wears glasses and has a pocket protector ... and apologizes for showing his fangs when you cut your finger and he smells blood?

1. Becoming by Raine Thomas
2. Central by Raine Thomas
3. Foretold by Raine Thomas --These books are a trilogy and they were pretty good. There were some things that annoyed me about them but fairly well done.
4. Everblossom by Larissa Hinton (anthology; poetry and dark short stories mixed together. Short stories were better than the poetry)
5. Lily in the Snow (boring, not that good)
6. Theives at Heart (didn't have any real kind of plot, became very boring)
7. The Watchtower by Darke Conteur (pretty good book)
8. My Sparkling Misfortune by Laura Lond (very funny)
