NGHTFALL was AWFUL!! You were smart to give up on it.

The first book sucked me in and I was finished with it after 2 days but this second book is going a lot slower and I cant seem to get through it.

I love this series! It's one I'm always current with!

I read it a couple of weeks ago and loved it. What did you think?

I figured this is what would happen to Bianca if she refused to become full vampire. I must admit what happened to Lucas surprised me, so I am quite anxious for the next one as I can't believe that she'd let them go through so much only to let things end this way for them.

As I was reading it I sort of figured at least the Bianca part b/c the of title to the 4th book. The other thing I was afraid might happen as the book went on but hoped I was wrong.

I just started the next Anita Blake in my line-up,

Question...I want to start with a Kelley Armstrong book. I'm thinking to start with the Rachel Morgan series. I know she has a YA series out and some others...do you girls all recommend Rachel Morgan???

Kelly - Did you mean Kim Harrison (who writes about Rachel Morgan starting with Dead Witch Walking) or Kelley Armstrong, who has The Women of the Otherworld series and The Darkest Power YA series?
If you want something closer to Anita, I'd go with Kim Harrison which is the most UF of the group. I personally like The Women of the Otherworld series just a bit better (especially the books following Elena and Clay).

No biggie. I've mixed up authors before and will probably do it again. You will most likely enjoy both series as they are both great.

No, there are 5 of them. The 5th came out in February, I think. It's

You're not the only one who didn't care for Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan books...
I have read both of (all?) of Kelley Armstrong's series. I suggest you start with The Women of the Otherworld, Kelly. The first book is Bitten. Then when you read the YA series, you'll know where the kids make the mistakes...Bitten

Back onto "Real Vampires" I also bought three more of them and ordered a 4th. So will have all 5 and will wait impatiently for the 6th. My husband is gonna flip when he sees my expenditures at the book store! hehehe

I also finished

I continue to read Proven Guilty and just started Enchanted Glass.

Then I read the delightful Me and Orson Welles a coming of age novel that takes place in NYC in 1937 when Orson Welles is mounting his production of "Julius Caesar."
Last night I finished The Entertainer and The Dybbuk, a well- worth reading Holocaust supernatural revenge novel, which I think isn't so appropriate for most younger middle schoolers, but HS and adult audiences might like a lot. I did.
Now I'm reading Ghosts of War, a memoir about a young man serving in Iraq.

U read so fast LOL.

I finished Ghost Moon today.... eh, it was just okay. I'm in the middle of Dead Beat & hoping to finish it up tomorrow. I'm also going to be starting Blood Promise tonight sometime - when I should be sleeping probably o.O

I really liked this one!"
Good to hear, I'm not far enough to tell if I like it or not yet, just started.

Demonic was kind of fun in a trashy kind of way. ::eyebrow waggle::
