"They're not getting worse, either," Hayden pointed out. "I don't need it," she protested.

"But they are getting worse, or easily triggered," Beven contradicted. "You didnt even get in a fight back at the mall, yet you got sick."

"I don't need the cure," Hayden said softly. "I'm perfectly fine."

Beven shook her head. "Thats the biggest lie I have heard," she said softly. That and the lies the school has told her. "You arent fine, and Im finding the cure. You can decide what to do with it."

Hayden sighed softly, biting her lip and letting her head loll against Beven's shoulder. "I'm fine."

Beven stroked Haydens hair softly. "Your not, as much as we both wish it were true," she said quietly, closing her eyes

"I'm fine," Hayden said again. Maybe if she said it more and more, it would be true.

"Words only go so far," Beven said softly. "You cant make things true by repeating them over and over again. You have to make them true, not just say them."

"Yes I can," Hayden said firmly. "The more I say it, the more likely it is to come true. I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine."

((Gee, now Hayden sounds like Maya))
Beven shook her head sadly. "You cant say something and expect it to happen without doing anything. Saying something wont make it magically happen or appear. You have to go out and make it happen."

((and yep XD))
"Why not?" Hayden asked tiredly, curling up in Beven's lap. "I'm fine. I'm fine, and you don't have to worry about me."

((Time lapse unless you have an evil plan? (: ))

((Oh, and you finished Ed!!!!!))
Beven awoke slowly to the sound of rain outside. Her eyes fluttered open slowly and looked down at Hayden. Wait, rain? She looked outside and cursed, it was raining. Which wasnt a good sign for her.

((yyyyyyeeeeeeeeesssssssss!!!! ahhhhh I'm in love * . * ))
Hayden whimpered softly, twisting slightly. "Uhhh?" she asked as she stirred.

Beven tore her gaze from the outside and looked down at Hayden. "Hey, morning," she said softly

"Morning," Hayden said softly, closing her eyes and resting her chin on her hands. "My head still hurts."

Beven wrapped her arms around Hayden lightly, backing deeper to the indent until her back hit the end. She bit back a wince as her wing pressed against the wall. Her foot was still to close to the entrance for comfort, but she wasnt getting wet, which she would take. She rubbed Haydens arm softly and rested her cheek on Haydens head. "We'll make it better," she said quietly, another reason why they needed the cure

Hayden curled up against Beven, closing her unseeing eyes. "Why did you wince?" she asked her softly, stretching out on her back with her head in Beven's lap. "It doesn't have to be better," she said softly. "I just want it to stop for five minutes so I can think."

Beven stroked Haydens light hair softly. "My wing," she admitted softly, leaving it at that. "In order for it to stop for even five minutes, it would have to get better. Because honestly, that would be improvement," she said softly.

"Right," Hayden said softly. "You broke it," she added, biting her lip. "I guess you're right," she said softly, wincing and closing her eyes.

"Thank goodness," Hayden said softly, closing her eyes. "I feel absolutely horrible."

Beven could have pointed out that she was right, from their disagreement from before, but didnt for many reasons. "Just until the rain stops, then we can find a better place to stay," she said softly.
"There is," Beven insisted. "You will always have it. You may not want to take it, but you will always have that choice. Your sicknesses arent getting better."
