May Read-a-Thon!
Okay, speaking of blue, I have a question: Does this one have enough blue in it? Just finished it off this morning.
I also finished off
really early and even did a review and DQs for the "buddy read." Woohoo! Of course, I'm behind in reading the threads.

Oh... forgot... I was bad and bought
on audible.com this morning -- for "uniform" -- so I had to. LOL!

I only read 10 pages today. But a friend of mine called around 7 PM and we didn't see each other for more than a month... I left everything and went to dinner with her. It felt so good :DAnd tomorrow is mother's day for us Portuguese, so I'm going to spend the day with my mom. Be back in the evening :)

Here you go, Sonia. Two of these I started before May 1st. I'm assuming that is still alright.

Uhmmm.... I'm not liking it... I see The Kingdom on your challenge's shelf, but not on your read one.OK, I'm too sleepy and is past midnight, I'll check again tomorrow
Good Night Cadet Blue Team!!
You're right, Sonia! I had it marked as "to-read-series" -- Just switched it over.
BTW, I'm getting ready to mark it as read for the Mod Account, too.

456 pages down for me! Under 800 to go. I posted my update in my page count thread (every time I type that, I think of bed sheets).Reminder: Don't forget to move or delete any posts that aren't related to the page-counts in the page count thread, okay? Can move them to this thread if you'd like!
Thanks :)
just a quick post to say THAT I FINISH MY BLUE COVER BOOK!!!!
336 pages read. And tomorrow (today for me, since is past 1 AM) is a Sookie day!!!
I'm half-way through
I put Lady Sophia's Lover down for now. I only listened to a little bit of disc 1. I need the Julia Quinn book for the Double Decker Bus challenge and don't want to have 2 Regencies going at once.
Just submitted another update. I added 100 pages to Sarah's page count for the Tessa Dare short. I remember reading in the rules that shorts count for this as far as pages, themes and colors. They just can't count as a "book read" for the overall tournament, unless of course they're part of an anthology and you read the whole anthology. Love Tessa Dare, btw.
I just finished another book
= 384 pages
It is also blue...
Plus, I plan on starting
- which is navy blue.

Sookie day! Sookie day!I'm at chapter 2, but I have to work :(
The book is a bit different than the others, so, I WANT TO READ MORE AND HAVE TO WAIT TILL 6 PM
*Soninha cries*

That's right tomorrow is the deadline for changing page goals. I'm debating if I want to up mine or leave it at 1200. If I finish a book tonight, I will pretty much be at goal. But I also really need to get started on my 2 door stoppers for another challenge.

My goal is 1000! :) and I've read a couple more books. So my page count should be different. Hopefully it shows the difference. If not when I get home I'll investigate on the computer.
Can you post the books you read in the Cadet Blue Read-A-Thon page count thread? Then I'll submit them.
Not changing my goal. I left my current read at work (*sniffle*) so now I've got to rush through another one in its stead, plus finish my other book all before this shindig ends. I spend way too much time on the forums, lol.
So, if anyone in this team wants to do those slider puzzles on the Games & Puzzles for Cupcakes thread, feel free! Go win us some more cupcakes! I've done most of the word finds and doublets and the one cross word. I haven't finished all of them but I intend to.Of course, the Mod acct is the one posting them so I think we should get credit for the slider puzzles that way, hahaha!!! (I hate slider puzzles, LOL)

LMBO! True. I could post them as Lisa Kay, if no one else wants to do them. I love them.

I'm fine with that, hehe.
My sister is always talking about those mini-games. She adores them. I think she spends more time in that thread than in the ones about the RaT (or reading for the RaT)*pouts*
And I have different totals for your books and the mod account.:(
But, if I'm not mistaken we have 5 color books and 4 uniforms which makes us a total of 65 points so far!!! Wooohoooo
I am not adding the goal points till the end of the changing goal deadline.
OK I will look again but this afternoon I looked through the updates on the page thread. I didn't say any others unless they were marked read since I looked a few hours ago. Not everyone is keeping the Page Count thread updated and so I might not have seen everything.
Wow, I can't believe there are just a few more days of this RaT left. I haven't read nearly as fast as I'd have liked but I feel confident I will meet my goal. I'm halfway through my blue cover book and I'm 37 pages into another book. Tonight, like last night, I'm working over-night at work so my sleep is going to be all screwy tomorrow but at least I'm off work tomorrow and I think I don't work until evening on Thursday and Friday so I'll have a good amount of reading time during my non-working hours.Ugh, so tired! I haven't made up much sleep today and I'm going to be on my feet all night. Not looking forward to that, lol. Oh well. I'll make it, I just may have to be a zombie while doing so, hehe. At least when we work over night we can wear pajamas!
Goodnight, everyone. Happy reading!
Man-oh-man! Down with a migraine most of the day, which really cut into my reading time. I didn't even listen to an audiobook. **sigh** I'm going to have to reassess my goal. I'll let you know by tomorrow a.m.
Love the pic, Teresa! Sorry you have to work tonight.

Ugh, sorry about the migraine, Lisa Kay. Hope it's gone today!! I hate it when headaches interfere with our reading pleasures, grrr.
Um I don't know who, but I know what you are talking about, I think. It's not technically "free". It's called the Free Library of Philadelphia. But it's only free if you live in PA. It's $35/year and they have 10's of thousands of ebooks, including Kindle and a large digital audiobook selection. The Brooklyn PL is $50/year and they also have a large selection.
Some books have wait lists but I have never had to wait very long for one.
