Or you or I can go in an edit it. LOL! Not a problem. ☺ Sorry about work. I hope you are not getting drained over this. This is supposed to be fun!

Nah, not drained over this. I just need a little while to decompress from work. I've only been home under an hour and of course I hopped right onto Goodreads first thing, hehe! I just wanted to get the thread started but had a complete creative block when trying to come up with a name. That's what I get for being impatient, lol!
Nope, not drained over the RaT at ALL, very anxious and excited and looking forward to it.

I find myself to be such a source of amusement when I'm brain dead, LOL!

Mmm,sugar! I might need some sort of chocolate snack soon, maybe some chocolate snack bread! Mmmm...
In the meantime...

Remember to check your page count on GRs before starting. And DO NOT tag any book 2 hours before start of R-a-T.
See my example here.

(Note: I will find almost any excuse to look for images to post, LOL! I'm so glad you guys explained just how easy this process is)

Jessica and Sarah, don't forget to claim a spot all to yourself in our Page Count Thread

**NOTE: Please be sure to choose a book where a character actually WEARS a uniform (or at least has a job that uses one) at some point in time throughout the book. I did a search for 'Armor' and came up with a bunch of 'knight-in-shining-armor' scenarios, which does *not* fit our theme.
Tagged 'Uniform'(multiple lists)

That is correct!
Yep, LK's link is broken somehow. I'll repost the how-to!

How to check the number of pages read
On the profile page choose stats

Then select the radio button pages and watch the orange bar fill! That number is your total pages read for 2013, so far.

The only way to keep count is to check the number of pages before the start of the Read-a-Thon week and at the end. The difference will be the total of pages read
Participants should avoid tagging any books the 2 hours prior the start of the read-a-thon and the 2 hours after the end of the read-a-thon.

I LOVE the cover for the book you are reading for the cover. The synopsis sounds good, too.

I finished a book last night but didn't mark it read until this morning. I dated it finished 4/30/13. Hopefully that doesn't mess anything up.

The date on the book doesn't matter in this instance, since we're going by 2013 totals, not specific dates.

The mini games are just for fun and do not require participation if you really don't want to do them!

Don't worry about the book. Just delete it and add it again after the RaT as Teresa said.
I think it can be connected with the goodreads refresh delay, but I'm not going to be picky about that - stil have a few teams to validate.
7 minutes left to the Read-a-Thon YEY!

Mod Account goal is 300 pages.
Yeah, I did NOT figure out an accurate page count for the Mod Account. I just went with the lowest for people with a <50 books goal.
I'm doing the "buddy read" of The Kingdom right now, which will count, and it is 376 pages.
