Born in Wiesloch Germany, came to USA when I was 11. Though I spoke English, I learned quickly there is a difference between the dialect I learned and that spoken by Americans. I immediately grew fond of puns and playing with the American pronunciation of words and phrases. This fueled my desire to write. As my imagination grew, so did the stories I would write. I never showed my stories to anyone, they were for my amusement I I never felt they, or I was good enough.
