I'm 50% in and I'm pretty mixed on it. There are some things I love and some I sort of hate lol. So sort of all over the place at this point! But the story keeps you guessing which is a good thing. How about you?

I'm only 11% in and to begin, I thought the voice was decent, but I'm starting to get a little weary of (almost) nothing but narration.

Yes! That was one of my major issues with Cassie's POV. Also tons of backstory in between the present. Too much at one time in my opinion. Later it becomes apparent why the author chose to do that, but still... Cassie's POV is my least favorite (there are many other POVs coming soon ;) although a number of people I'm reading with have liked hers the best, so to each their own! We are going a buddy read over in my fan/YA group in case you want to join in:

I won't join in, as I have around 5% of my novel to write this week to make this latest one a wrap, so I'm going to be mega slow at reading until that's out of the way, but I've joined the group so I can pop in and out and comment when I (eventually) get done, thanks.

I know, I was looking for a PB to read alongside this one, and I spotted The Testing sitting there, but kinda went: Um ... not two like this, me thinks. I did try another PB this morning, but you already know how that turned out, Brook. :P
Now I'm trying to decide if I should read KA's The Gathering whilst I read 5th Wave, or if I should check out something like Jodi Meadow's Incarnate, as I have that sitting upstairs and waiting to be read. I could use some more Lirium really. He urges me onward, but without taking up too much of my time.

Okay, I ended up picking up today and opened the front page. I'm only on page 14, but this is a good start considering my reading moods lately, because so far I want to keep going.

I'm also attempting to read because I'm on the blog tour, but I'm VERY not sure on my opinion of it right now (okay, I am, but I don't want to be hasty before I've decided if it's worth the perseverance it's taking).

Piercing the Fold is awesome. I just don't have a lot of time to read print books so they take me longer to read.
