AND I told her that I'd looked for

Wanted her to know she's got FANS who love Dex & Perry!
Hopefully, I'll hear back her... let you know when I do.

(Outtakes for the trailer for Dead Sky Morning)

(Interview with Dex and Perry, but takes place between Red Fox and Dead Sky Morning)

Interview starts at .45 seconds.
I was cracking up!

Speaking of... no word on my end from Ms. Halle. But, afterall, tomorrow IS another day!
Ladyhawk, it's too great to have more in the party! Is she on GR? If not, get her in here!

I thought it was funny when the 'interviewer' asked if they were together. And also when she asked what they did after the hockey game.

But yes, don't watch the interview until after you read Dead Sky Morning.

and I loved them. I loved the -- it looks like you are forever on a first date comment. :)

Lisa, it's full service here in True Love 101 :) We aim to please my dear :)

These ladies read super fast and already out paced me. I can't keep up with them!
And Lori I'm trying to get that lady to join the thread. I sent her a link but not sure she caught on.
Can't wait to hear what Karina has to say when she responds to you ladies.

Just finished Ch 1 where Perry sees that creepy older lady...reminded me of that movie where the old Gypsy woman placed a curse on a young woman...can't remember the title.

Lol! It's... Different in a 'not what I was expecting, gotcha' kinda way! Ha! Looking forward to what you think! I usually don't get to participate in many of the book chats because, well I'm not usually reading the same book. I just got lucky this time. And I do read at a much leisurely pace.

When I'm really into a book or series, I tend to devour them. That's what I did with the Outlander series and the EiT series.
You won't be sorry about the novellas... they fill in a lot of the "missing pieces", although not everything. But they really help to complete your understanding of Dex, Perry, and the other major characters and events. LOVE the ones from Dex's POV.
Which is why I'm really curious about "Come Alive", because it's supposed to be all Dex's POV. So used to Perry telling the main stories... guess I'll have to wait and see.

I'm so excited to find it.

(If I've forgotten that this letter is already in one of Dex's POV shorts, mea culpa. I'm still making my way back through them.)
There are probably other gems out there that we don't know about. But this source is super. Thanks, Leea, for finding it/tracking it down!

Me too! I think I was referring to yours and Reginas? message to Karina.
Anyway, I am reading

Going to watch these clips.. Did you all notice the link Leea posted has "Maryse" in it. As in Lightwood?

I did notice the Maryse, and I thought the same thing - LOL!
I love

Dex is an odd one, for me - not sure what to think about him at this point. What Perry's sis said about him looking like Satan was a 70's flashback to my sister saying the very same thing about one of my "boyfriends" so of course, I'm visualizing him as Dex (he does fit the description). Dex's gum spitting bugs me tho because I'm picturing that wad of gum getting stuck to the bottom of a shoe...yuck ;)

Lying Season - The lost shoe was great :D A few scenes after that were wonderful too!

So far, I'm not getting pulled in, but I'm hoping that this will fall away as I get further in to the book. Right now, I'm almost comparing this to a memoir in my head, which shouldn't bother me since I read memoirs, but it feels sort of sterile for fiction. I felt guilty for not feeling sympathy for the characters, when I probably should have been.
It might just be the reminiscing/recalling that's been happening so far. I'm curious to see if the style will shift to a more present-day approach at some point.
Although, I was half asleep when I was reading last night, so I'm hoping that this will start to become more interesting if I'm fully awake to read it!
Leea had shared her AIDS story and I suppose I could share mine. Going to tag this because it's long. (view spoiler)
