Gwennie (blessedwannab) | 1116 comments hahahahahaha, I just get really caught up in dramatic books. They make me feel so angry, lol.

message 9: by Tellulah (new)

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) I went back to look at how I'd reviewed PtL and remembered that I thought the first half veered dangerously into after school special for me but the back half sucked me in. So I'll be curious to hear what you all think of it. :)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 862 comments I thought book 1 was similar to Perfect Chemistry, but that PC did the subject matter better. It was just okay for me. But I did like book 2 a little bit better.

Yeah, I think that's a good comparison.

Searock | 10 comments I know this means I am such a 12 year old, but when Tellulah wrote "the back half sucked me in" I snorted a little Rockstar out of my nose.

Anyway, this was one of my favorite reads last year. I forgot Stacia liked the second one a little better, so I'll have to put a priority status on it.

For some reason I didn't think I'd enjoy this heroine, but I'm happy to be reminded that I could be wrong- which happens often (like, alot).

Erica | 1 comments Love this book, and love the second one even more.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 862 comments Welcome Erica. :)

message 16: by Angela (new)

Angela I've read the first book (Pushing The Limits) and it's excellent. One of the best YA books I've read. Emotional, angsty...but not too much...and with very likeable characters. You really feel a connection with them and it has a lovely ending. Well worth reading.

Kriselda De Los Reyes (kriseldaDLR) The comments make me want to read it now. Thank you!
