message 59: by Carina (new)

Carina | 258 comments Tanya here are your choices :)

Kissed by an Angel: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32...

I bought this book having read all the ones I took to the US! Considering it was a bit of an impulse buy I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this was.

Anna dressed in Blood: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/93...

I haven't read this one, but have it on my to be read list - sounds good!

Along came a Spider: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

One of my favourite James Patterson novel - a lot better than the movie if you've ever seen it.

Glass Houses: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35...

This was one of the books chosen for me in one of these challenges last year and I did enjoy it for a 'modern vampire' novel - hopefully if you pick this one as your read you will like it too!

message 60: by Tanya (new)

Tanya (bookaholic22) | 99 comments I loved all of the choices that where picked out for me but I haven't chosen the one I will read yet :)

Here are your choices Carina :D Hope you like them.

1) Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins

I read this book recently and I loved it better than the hunger games and the ending shocked me. I'm hoping you will like it too.

2) Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver

I have had this on my to be read list for a while now but I have heard amazing reviews on it so I'm hoping you will enjoy this one.

3) Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

This is a retelling of Cinderella and I've heard amazing things about this book too but I'm afraid I will not like it when I read it because I'm not a fan of cyborgs but I think you will have a different opinion to me.

4) Above Suspicion (Anna Travis Mystery, #1) by Lynda La Plante

I have heard of this author but never really researched her but I have met some good people at the library and they said that her books are worth the read.

Finally I have also chosen.... The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa

Again, I have heard good things about this book but it has been on my to be read list for a while.

message 61: by Carina (last edited Apr 28, 2013 12:24PM) (new)

Kindred by Octavia E. Butler This one I had to read for a class and it was one that I actually ended up reading all the way through so it was good! You kind of have to be in the right mood for it though (or at least I did).
and... Pretties (Uglies, #2) by Scott Westerfeld I read this a long time ago and pretty sure I gave it a 5! I would definitely be willing to reread this book and tell everyone I know to read this series!!
