What RDI are you reading?

How far are you into that book Kristine? That's one of the ones I tried to read but couldn't get into. I think I gave up after twenty or so pages.

I just finished Scot on The Rocks. It took me a few chapters to get into, but I really liked it. I will have to get Jack with a Twist next time I am out.

I loved both "Scot on the Rocks" and "Jack with A Twist" (though Scot was better, I thought). I'm kinda hoping for more in that series...

I know the Slightly one and all the one by Jennifer Sturman (The Pact, The Jinx..) I think someone said Whose Wedding Is It Anyways was a follow up to See Jane Date.

(2) See Jane Date / Whose Wedding - Melissa Senate
* Love You to Death (Senate) was supposed to be a series but has yet to be one
(3) Jennifer Sturman - The Pact, Jinx, Key and Hunt (not necessarily in that order)
(4) Kyra Davis - Sex, Murder and a Double Latte/Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights/Something about Dark Chocolate - possibly not in that order and the 4th comes out either this year or next year!
(5) Girl's Guide to Witchcraft/Sorcery & the Single Girl/Magic and the Modern Girl - Mindy Klasky
(6) Tales of a Drama Queen/True Lies of a Drama Queen - Lee Nichols
(7) I read somewhere Flyover States and Eye to Eye were with the same characters but I haven't read either yet to confirm
(8) Engaging Men/Bombshell - Lynda Curnyn
(9) The Funeral Planner (RDI) / The Funeral Planner Goes to Washington (not RDI but a sequel nonetheless)
(10) Not really a sequel but the compilation books Girls Night In and Girls Night Out
(11) Lisa Maria's Guide for the Perplexed/ Lisa Maria Takes Off (I need the first book!!!) - Susan Hubbard
(12) The Thin Pink Line/Crossing the Line - Lauren Baratz Logsted
(13) Scot on the Rocks/Jack with a Twist
(14) The Last Year of Being Single/The Last Year of Being Married - Sarah Tucker (I need the sequel)

I stopped reading it. It is terrible! Could not get past page 30. I really wanted to like it. Kourtney, don't waste your time.

LOL! Amazingly enough there are! Quite a few actually, but I'm doing a pretty good job of plowing through. I think I have less than 20 that I haven't read yet to get.

Sorry to hear you're sick Kourtney, I hope you feel better soon. Great job with this list! I can't think of any others off the top of my head either, I think you covered it.
I didn't realize that See Jane Date and Whose Wedding were a set. That makes me really happy because I have both of them. Yea!
Melissa Senate has one coming out this year under Downtown Press called The Secrets of Joy or something like that. I haven't read Love You to Death but I wonder if maybe that might be the sequel?

I have that book on my list but to be honest, after not being able to read Fat Chance, it will probably be the last RDI book I get/read.

Sorry that you're sick Kourtney. I know how you feel. This year has been bad for me. It started out in the beginning of March, I came down with Bonchitis....YUCK!!! then just last week I had a head cold/sinus infection and this week was wisdom teeth being pulled. I hope that's it for awhile.

Thank you all for the well wishes - I'm a big ole baby when I'm sick! It's going in the high 80's here and my bf is going out and about so I'm bitter that I'm stuck inside. Oh well...at least I have my books :)

I am a big baby too. It's 75 here today (it's about time). My husband stopped at Wendy's today and brought home lunch. I got chili and he got a nice burger and fries. It smelled so good. I can't wait to be able to eat that kind of food again. Soup is wearing on me. :(

Yes Kristine, I'm sorry. I wasn't on my computer much this weekend other than for homework and I've actually had stuff to do at work this morning. (For once, LOL)
Anyway, yes the May book is As Seen on TV by Sarah Mlynowski.
AND! I sent her an email through her website telling her about the group and asking if she would join the group and the discussion. If you haven't already noticed, she did join and she sent me a very nice email back saying that she would love to join in the discussion, but she doens't know how much she'll be able to because she just had a baby about six weeks ago. Isn't that awesome?!

I agree Stacy, I thought it was one of the best ones out of the series- I was afraid that it would be just seem like they were dragging the series out too far, but I loved it!

I am reading True Lies of a Drama Queen. I loved the first one and this one is just as good. For some reason....I haven't had much time to read lately. That's about to change! LOL!

I totally forgot to post that I'm reading Girl Most Likely To on my computer at work. However, I won't be able to read any of it this week because I'm finally taking a week off for vacation. Not going anywhere - just want to be able to de-stress, relax and read.

I have 10 days until my vacation Stacy!!! And I'll be doing the same thing :) Except one day I'm going to Six Flags Magic Mountain...all other days will be spent on the couch studying and working my weekend job. Oh well at least I'll have 8 days away from my weekday job!

Have fun rollercoastering Kourtney! I wish I were doing something on just one day, but I currently have no plans. Well, I do have plans for tomorrow but not fun ones. I'm being dragged back to court, for TWO hearings, by my ex-husband because he doesn't want to pay the medical support he owes me from last year and because he thinks all the sudden he needs an extra overnight with my daughter every other week on my one and only day I get her all day - Saturday. He has Wed & Sun off from his job and has her both days (he has her Thursdays too but he works). I'm so mad about the whole thing I'm about ready to explode!

The whole thing ended up being a total waste of time. And I swear the judge hates me. He told me that certified mail is not a proper form of service/notification and I should've used regular mail. Then he got mad at me for not using my lawyer for that part of the case. Uh, hello - my lawyer isn't free! My ex's lawyer's office got the second hearing date screwed up - it was supposed to be next Monday. Now both things have to be heard at the same time and a new date needs to be scheduled! UGH! Waste of time, waste of time!

I just started A Little Change of Face by Lauren Baratz-Logsted....has anyone read this? I am not sure what I think of it so far, I am almost 100 pages in. I can't get used to the writing style.

I just finished my first Red Dress Ink book......21 Steps to Happiness....I liked it! It was really cute and I love books that have to do with fashion, so it was a given I was going to like it. Now I'm wanting to stock up on the Red Dress Ink books:) I just bought one from Barnes and Nobles without even knowing it was a RDI book ( The Break Up Club).

I did read them all. That's a great series! Book 3 (Engaged) was a little hard for me to get through but I managed and 4 (Married) and 5 (Suburban) were great! I think there's even the possibility of a 6th one - I'm hoping anyway!

Right now I am reading Live From New York, It's Lena Sharpe - does anyone want this when I am done? No matter how much I like the story I cannot keep it because whoever sent it to me from PBS had cats and I am deathly allergic(I can barely breathe while reading!) I am forcing myself to finish it tonight so I can one day breathe again :) Just let me know if you want it and I will post it to you!
