LOL. Cyberstorm reads like a good disaster movie. What would happen if all the electronic systems we depend so much upon (TV, communications, phone, internet) were hacked into, and went out? And what if it happened just as an epic blizzard was hitting the Northeast U.S.? Does make you think... I'm only about a third of the way into it, and things are starting to get really interesting.

I finished Fatal Hearts by Norah Wilson and it was just okay. Not as suspenseful as I'd prefer and it was longer than needed.

I'm now reading Between the Sheets by Molly O'Keefe.

Really? It's all I've heard about for the last month or so in most of my groups. I thought everyone but me had read it. I believe there are 7 books out now and I'm told some of them have pretty big cliffhangers. Not happy about that as I don't have time to read them all straight through right now...but I'm also told they get better and better. About 30% in this one & it has my attention! ;)

I love dark, emotional reads that really stretch my boundaries a little. Loving this one so far. I only hesitated starting it because I know I'll probably be sucked in to bingeing them all.

I haven't read the rest. I really liked this first one. I hear that this one is tame compared to the ones to come.

Penni | 816 comments Sandra ~ ♥ Cross My Heart ♥ wrote: "Do you like the Rock books by Singh?"

I find I like Stage Dive Play series better. The first one of Rock Kiss series was ok. This second one (a novella) was really sweet. And I am curious now about the last two bad members. But still, I like Stage Dive better. And that is all the band books I have to compare against, I really haven't dipped into this genre much,

Quynh (quynh_o) | 1269 comments I'm reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Figured I should get to this since I've put it off long enough. I'm not sure if it's the way the two main characters are written but as of now, I'm not too keen on them. They both sound conceited. Not sure if that's the right word I'm going for. Anyway, I'll see what's in store as I go.

message 2042: by Elle (new)

Elle Rush (ellerush) | 28 comments I preferred NS's Rock Courtship over Rock Addiction. I had some trouble with the insta-love in book #1 (I liked the second half much better.) Book 2 was cute.

I should have listened to the recommendations for To Die For (Blair Mallory, #1) by Linda Howard earlier. That was a fun read. I struck out with another of Linda Howard's books but now I'm willing to try again.
