Finished reading Afraid to Die and starting the last book in the To Die series Ready to Die. This has been a great series and going to hate to see it end.
Killing time until the next Outlander book comes out...re-listening to Julie Garwood's Laird's Fiancé's.
Dawn, you should read The Irin Chronicles series by Elizabeth Hunter! Only 2 books so far. I'm on the second book now and really enjoying it. Sandra loves this series too. :)
I finished The Promise by Robyn Carr a couple of weeks ago. Here's my review.
I'm reading Morgan's Hunter by Cate Beauman and am enjoying it.

I've been reading the cozy mystery Mistletoe Murder today. Finished Morrigan's Cross yesterday. I was very impressed and can't wait to read book #2.
just finished ready to die....a little slower than some of the other books in the series but still really enjoyed it. luckily I found out today that new book will be released in July so it is not the end of the series. I have really enjoyed getting to know the characters in this series. Tomorrow I think I am going to start The Search by Iris Johansen
I also finished Morgan's Hunter by Cate Beauman and really liked it and will continue the series.
I'm now reading Love Irresistibly by Julie James.
I'm now reading Love Irresistibly by Julie James.
I’m reading City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare and Enthralled by Lora Leigh
And I am listening to Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts.
Sandra wrote: "How are you liking Enthralled, Patricia?"I like it. I have read almost all the Breeds series and I enjoy them all. But I have to admit I like the first ones the best, the story line gets more complicated as it goes on and with so many books the secondary characters are getting a bit confusing to keep track of. LOL. I’m still waiting on Cassie’s story, that’s the one I really want to read.
The short stories always leave me wanting more but I like them.
It is an author that I've been meaning to explore...seems there are so many that I want to read but never seem to have the time.
I'm still reading Lover Revealed - I was laid up with back pain/spasms from hell. I didn't read for a week! It was bad - I'm glad to be back:)
I finished Love Irresistibly by Julie James and loved it (review to come). I also finished The Accident by Linwood Barclay last week and here's my review.
I'm now reading A Night of Southern Comfort by Robin Covington.

I finished
which was awesome. Now listening to
and am a little taken aback I think by Eve's abrasiveness in this one right up front. She has the right heart and values, but things just come out more rough than I'm comfortable with sometimes. Also reading
which is good so far and trying to finish
.
Has anyone ever read the House of Dark Shadows series or Through Violet Eyes series. A friend is sending both of these series to me and haven't heard of them and was curious what other opinions might be. I am into mystery suspense type books and curious if these would be series i will like.
I read Through Violet Eyes years ago and remember liking it. It has a suspense and mystery feel to it.

which I absolutely loved!! Getting my hands on more of her books ;)
Am reading
Has anyone read Water Bound the Sisters of Heart series? Came across the author and would appreciate some feedback before i commit myself to another serial..
I'm now reading Never Been Kissed by Molly O'Keefe and back to listening to the last part of Voyager by Diana Gabaldon.
@azleen I have read water bound. I really liked it. I read the whole Drake Sisters series. And this book is a spin off from that series. I absolutely loved each book. How far are you on Water Bound?
@ Hi Patricia, nope not started yet..i actually came across
and thought it looked promising then realising it's book 3 of a series! (aargh hate when that happens!!)because NOW i'm compelled to start with book 1, lol...anyway appreciate the feedback! Thanks! Will definately give Water Bound a go..;)
I finished Never Been Kissed by Molly O'Keefe and loved it.
I'm now reading Perfectly Broken by Prescott Lane.

Ok so I had forgot that I didn't particularly love Concealed in Death. It's good, and since I love the series I have to read and re-read it. LOL BUT for some reason I get the feeling that everything is off kilter a little bit. Like Peabody is a step off, Mavis is a step off. I wonder if Mrs. Roberts was distracted or nor paying attention close enough when she wrote this book. Nothing seems to line up right with the characters.
Jonetta wrote: "Intense is an understatement!"Finished it. It was a lot more intense than I expected when I started it. The scope and the emotional intensity on both personal and professional levels was huge.
Will be finishing up
and
while I try and figure out what I will be listening to next.
Going to finally get to start reading The Collector. I am going to pick it up at the library after several weeks of it being on hold. I am also reading Hot Blooded
I'm reading Avenge Me by Maisey Yates after having finished the prequel to the series, Take Me (my review).
Penni - I had trouble with
also, so much so I put it down for a couple days. But everyone here encouraged me to finish it, and they were right!
I'm reading A Cold Dark Place by Toni Anderson. I'm already hooked! I'm also listening to It Happened One Wedding by Julie James.
Randi wrote: "Penni - I had trouble with

I really did like the story and the ending on this one. It was one that I really couldn't pick who the killer was as I have in past books. But I wasn't happy with Eve, and even Roarke, at times.
Keeps things interesting though, doesn't it? I like that the series & even characters to some extent are unpredictable and don't always act as we'd like them to. They all have their "triggers" and we learn what motivates them but they don't always react the same. I've never been bored reading one of these books.
Yes, Penni...they are real to life. Moody, quirky, funny, subdued, vibrant, even the villains - methodical, evil, insane, . . . true to life characters, for sure. Outstanding portrayals and translation to the page by Robb.
