What are you reading?
I've read through Lover Revealed in the BDB series. I'll get back to it as soon as I can finish up some buddy read books. Starting
now and then
now and then
Currently listening to The Collectors on Audible...yawn. Maybe I will listen to the last Eve-Roarke after that and go backwards thru the series.
Finished
and
and loving it. Want to read the next two so badly but I have so many others I'm committed to reading this month. So I shouldn't read them til next month. We'll see.Listening to
. I got really frustrated right up front because of the (view spoiler). I'm only a few chapters into the story, so I hope that theme doesn't continue the entire book. I don't think I can take 54 chapters of it.["br"]>["br"]>
I loved the "development" of Butch's character in LR, Penni. I think they move past that and I thought he grew as a character a lot in this one...in more ways than one! ;)
All caught up on Ty & Zane and going to knock out the rest of the Artist's Trilogy books - now reading Shooting Scars

omg Penni...you'll find out! I thought this book was jammed packed full of stuff happening. Big developments for Butch...it goes uphill, not down! :)
Let's take this to the BDB thread to chat more when you get farther along.

So I just finished reading Book # in the Quincy & Rainie series The Third Victim. Great book and I am falling in love with these two already. Cant start book 3 The Next Accident until tomorrow. Have them on hold at the library and they are still in transit. Now I have to find something to read until tomorrow. lets see J.D Robb or Iris Johansen. tough decision since they are my two favorite authors
I'm reading the last book of the Artist's trilogy series
Another series I started & could not stop reading until the end.

No...I hadn't downloaded the books before my internet went down. I had purchased them but they were sitting in my "Cloud", & can't access that without internet.
You know me with these dark, emotional series. Once I start, if I'm hooked, I can't stop.
And, btw, I know now why the novella must be read after book 1. That's definitely true.

Got to the Library today and picked up the remaining books for the series I am currently reading. Going to start
yeah i need to slow down because i am only four books to being at the end but i can't seem to do it lol. After this series i am not sure what to read. I have to find another series to read.
Sheri, have you read anything by Allison Brennan or Brenda Novak in the romantic suspense category? They're pretty easy to find at the library.
The Prey by Allison Brennan was really good. Might be a starting point. Novak suggested I start with Inside. Both are the first in trilogies.
Thank you Jonetta, I wrote those down so i don't forget them and once i finish this series i am going to read them.
Stayed up late finishing the Artist's trilogy, last book -
. It didn't disappoint. I think I may have to try reviewing this series as a whole, as I did Consequences. It's hard to separate these books as all 4 books tell the story. I'm having reading withdrawals today - not ready to move on.

I'm enjoying
though I wish I had more time in the day dedicated to reading. It explains some in between stuff that happens in book 2. I think I had more reading time during the school semester than I do now! Lol. Too much going on and not enough reading. I even have the next 4-5 books planned out on my scheduled TBR.

You're really a fan of this series, aren't you Quynh? I love series that capture me like that.

Yea. It's a trilogy so I just like to get them all read straight through if it really pulls me in. :)
I like Zsadist quite a bit also. Butch has had a soft spot in my heart since day 1. He is SUCH a gentleman - protector of the ladies. Love it.
I don't know if I could say which one I like best between Z and Butch. They are very different. I'm usually very much in the bad boy camp. But Butch hit a soft spot for me. He's tough, strong, does what he needs to - but I don't consider him a bad boy. Z is just a special case all around. Bad yes, but not as much as he likes to put out there. And very, very damaged and hurting. Loved his book.
We are of alike minds Dawn! Z is definitely my top fave brother, now more so because how he is with his family. Love Butch too. I don't hate Marissa, just not my favorite heroine character.
Oh finally. I thought I was the only person on the planet not in the Marissa camp. And...oh yea! Love him with Bella and the baby, especially in The King.
My heart melts EVERY TIME Nala and Z are mentioned in same sentence. Can't wait to see how she'll wrap all those big manly brothers around her little finger as she grows up. :)

Oh, most of the feedback I've seen about Marissa is negative. Those liking her are DEFINITELY in the minority.

Mine too! Butch didn't really catch my radar much until this book. I just love his story, progression, discoveries about himself, transformation - All of it. By book's end, Butch became my favorite.
I am also a fan of Marissa. I think her role is perfectly played.

Just finished
and now I am listening to
. Uck! I just realized I have to drive to Tucson Friday (two hours away) and I have nothing to listen to. I have to hit the library, before then.
