What are you reading?
Listening to MAYBE THIS TIME by Jennifer Crusie. So far it's very good. Like the fact I can download some books through my library.
Finished up
by Jayne Ann Krentz last night and currently reading
by Lara Adrian and loving it, can't put it down! Also reading
by Gemma Halliday on my IPad.
I am currently reading
. So far it is a pretty good book. Not as good as the Eve Duncan Series but close since the books do coincide
I just finished Cut & Run by Abigail Roux and Madeleine Urban. I was really looking forward to it as so many friends had rated it highly. Unfortunately, I just found it to be okay.
My Review
I'm now reading A Good Time by Shannyn Schroeder.
My Review

I finished A Good Time by Shannyn Schroeder, the second book in her O'Leary's series. I'm loving these stories and have one more in the pipeline.
I'm now reading Sleep With the Lights On by Maggie Shayne.

Reading/listening to In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath...another series I have gotten sucked into...
Don't you just love that wish list? I put the rest of the series (Scoundrels of St James) on mine too...hoping they go on sale lol.

I looked this one up and it definitely goes on my list of books to read. I've enjoyed the books by Heath that I've read thus far!

I have this series but haven't started it. Y'all have me ready to ditch my plan and start it.

How is it, Dawn? Worth taking the plunge?

So far I think book two is a little slower going than the first, but the reviews are so good, I am plunging onward.
I finished reading Sleep With the Lights On by Maggie Shayne and enjoyed it. It's a paranormal mystery with romantic elements. I also finished listening to The Longing by Wendy Lindstrom, a historical romance and loved it.
I'm now reading Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon

I had taken a break with my reread of in death because I got into another series. I picked up Iris Johansen books and am really enjoying her books. A couple of days ago i realized that i was having withdrawals from Eve and Roarke lol so decided to continue my reread. I am currently reading
FINALLY finished Dragonfly in Amber and am now reading The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith, pseudonym for J. K. Rowling.
I finally succumbed to repeated recommendations. Actually, just listening was putting me to sleep, so I am going back and forth between the audio and ebook. I still have 26 hours lol. I am for seeing a costly addiction to yet another long series...
I should duck my head as I say that I dnf'd Outlander...I just didn't get into it. And I know that I probably just didn't read far enough in to get hooked. I have friends that love it and friends that didn't finish it so I've heard both sides of the pros & cons. I truly think that at the time I started it, I just wasn't focused enough (several distractions ongoing) to read it. I think I let the history bog me down before getting to the story. If that makes sense! I do intend to give it another try...maybe the audio, this time.
Sandra, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground with this book. You're either going to love or dislike it. I was hooked pretty early on (the history is a draw for me) so if it's not calling you, be free and let it go!
I will if it doesn't grab me this time. I seriously didn't give it a fair chance as in I probably read less than 50 pages...maybe less than 25. I don't remember as it has been a long time since I started it. I'm a fan of historicals - love them! But I seem to recall this one being a lot of historical details in the beginning and I wasn't concentrating. But thanks for the advice!
I read a bunch of very mixed reviews before I bought it and yes, either they loved it or they hated it. And those who were brave enough to say they hated it have been viscously attacked. I admit that most of the haters are talking about rape scenes and I am not that far into it.
Oh and I am enjoying the narration. She is new to me, but I am enjoying her voice and her characters.
I just finished Lover Awakened and now starting on Lover Revealed with the Christmas festivities over. I'm so addicted to this Brotherhood.
Good to know, Quynh. I've promised myself to get to this series in January. I just finished Conspiracy in Death and am starting Kresley Cole's 2nd from IAD series, A Hunger Like No Other.
