What are you reading?

I just finished Cut & Run by Abigail Roux and Madeleine Urban. I was really looking forward to it as so many friends had rated it highly. Unfortunately, I just found it to be okay.
My Review
I'm now reading A Good Time by Shannyn Schroeder.

I finished A Good Time by Shannyn Schroeder, the second book in her O'Leary's series. I'm loving these stories and have one more in the pipeline.
I'm now reading Sleep With the Lights On by Maggie Shayne.

I looked this one up and it definitely goes on my list of books to read. I've enjoyed the books by Heath that I've read thus far!

I know! Everytime I read through this forum I find new books. Audible is going to really like me! LOL

I have this series but haven't started it. Y'all have me ready to ditch my plan and start it.

How is it, Dawn? Worth taking the plunge?

I finished reading Sleep With the Lights On by Maggie Shayne and enjoyed it. It's a paranormal mystery with romantic elements. I also finished listening to The Longing by Wendy Lindstrom, a historical romance and loved it.
I'm now reading Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon

FINALLY finished Dragonfly in Amber and am now reading The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith, pseudonym for J. K. Rowling.

I should duck my head as I say that I dnf'd Outlander...I just didn't get into it. And I know that I probably just didn't read far enough in to get hooked. I have friends that love it and friends that didn't finish it so I've heard both sides of the pros & cons. I truly think that at the time I started it, I just wasn't focused enough (several distractions ongoing) to read it. I think I let the history bog me down before getting to the story. If that makes sense! I do intend to give it another try...maybe the audio, this time.
Sandra, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground with this book. You're either going to love or dislike it. I was hooked pretty early on (the history is a draw for me) so if it's not calling you, be free and let it go!
I will if it doesn't grab me this time. I seriously didn't give it a fair chance as in I probably read less than 50 pages...maybe less than 25. I don't remember as it has been a long time since I started it. I'm a fan of historicals - love them! But I seem to recall this one being a lot of historical details in the beginning and I wasn't concentrating. But thanks for the advice!

Good to know, Quynh. I've promised myself to get to this series in January. I just finished Conspiracy in Death and am starting Kresley Cole's 2nd from IAD series, A Hunger Like No Other.
