❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments Karen!

What parts (stories) from Sherlock Holmes you've finished? Maybe we could use them. :P

message 1852: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments Another one Ninja :P

If I read only one story from anthology (in my case it would be reread from beginning of the year) do I need to tag anthology as read for it to count? Or you'll trust me if I say I've read it?

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments I can check my kindle and see if I have anything else less than 160 pgs. I tend to download regular books though.

We are only missing 2 Ns.
Or one, depending on my previous post. I've reread last night (while waiting for roll :P) first story from Love Ahead where one of the characters is Nick. I didn't want to retag it since I was going to read only that one

Yes, please 'tag' it as a regular "read," to avoid confusion. You may 'untag' it or change the read date after the TTRC is finished.

Well, I finished Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover this morning:D

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments I have Love on the Buchanan Ranch by Elizabeth Nelson that I can probably read most of on my lunch break and finish up tonight. It is only 118 pgs. EDIT: Amazon page says 118 but GR says 89.

I also have an I that is only 40 pgs if you want me to read that instead of yours. I Love My Breakup by Sabrina Lacy.

Great.
I'm already half way through Winter's Passage (Iron Fey). You can read it if you want. It's easy to shuffle books. :D I'm not sure if one of Melissa's will count since it's still on currently reading shelf (but it has read date)

And we have till Sunday... *snickers* challenge-addicts strike again!

Then, I will have the I finished during lunch and then start on N to be finished tonight.

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments Finished with the 'N' book. Back to SSS book.

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments I've submitted our shorties/spell-out and we got 5 BAPs for them. YAY!
But it was close. Apparently TC gave only 3 stars to one of 'Ninja's' favorite short stories. :P

Alpha & Omega (Alpha & Omega, #0.5) by Patricia Briggs

I think maybe it just wasn't long enough to make it up to four stars for me. Her regular length books I have rated at least four stars.

message 1868: by NBRC Book Ninja (new)

NBRC Book Ninja | 1025 comments See, I read it and went right into Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1) by Patricia Briggs . So, it was like one long book for me.

Of course they did. Why wouldn't they? They are short, they are finished, and they have right letters. :P
I went through all shelfs and check what I can use.
There was another one of your books, but it was still on currently reading shelf so I wasn't sure it'll work. Took another one just to be safe.

You can work on them if you want, but we don't need them. We haven't even used those earned before. Looks like we aren't reading big books :D

Nope. We never know when the NBRC Ninja will attack. Plus, we are determining second, third, (etc.) place on Sunday.

Is there even a sliver of chance we can place 3rd?

Only if we manage to read about 100 books before Sunday. :P
Last week we were only 5 points behind Forest Green, so we could get ahead of them. Honestly I don't think that'll happen.
So far we've read only about 15 books from last update (and we had weeks when we did over 30)

I can definitely read 100 books by Sunday, if LK will count my kids books that we read almost every night
Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? by Bill Martin Jr. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. Silly Tilly by Eileen Spinelli Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney Fancy Nancy by Jane O'Connor Hop On Pop Blue Back Book (Dr Seuss - Blue Back Book) by Dr. Seuss

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments I know in last few weeks I have slowed down with reading. I look at a book and think, I don't want to read that one yet. I have been feeling blah with the book reading lately. That is the reason why I am reading some Newberys. Hopefully, I will feel like really reading harder books. :D

message 1885: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments Don't worry Melissa. I've also slowed down. I'm *I can't believe I'm going to say this* kinda fed up with reading. Last year I've slowed down over summer and read only few books, but this year it's been constant reading. When we are done, I'll take few day's off and watch some movies or play games.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments **gigglesnort** No. Then I'd have to backtrack and give first place to you all, because I'm sure Ezin has reads hundreds over the last seven months.

Hello Hobbits

I would like to remind you that we have about 19h left till the end of this challenge.
Finish your books by then and don't forget to tag them!
There are only few points difference between Forest Green, Mauvelous and us so every book/point counts.

No pressure. :P

message 1897: by Gemma (new)

Gemma Hi Lisa and Tea (:
We are good thanks. Getting into the swing of things.
Sadly it was a bit rubbish, very poorly written and an upsetting ending. Never mind.

message 1898: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments I liked it, that's why I asked. It was slow at the beginning but after a while I couldn't put it down.
And ending... I can't believe she ended it that way.

Are going to try that new one? The Cuckoo's Calling

message 1899: by Gemma (new)

Gemma The reason I kept reading was because I wanted to find out what happened to Robbie, I wish I hadn't ): It's not my type of book normally but I gave it a try because it was J.K. Rowling, the new one does look better though. I'll probably wait and pick it up second hand, I only paid £1.29 for The Casual Vacancy!
