What scares you is very good and very interesting, no more hero’s is well worth watching.

👍thanks for the heads up.

Who's still here?
And whatcha reading right now?
I'm into local cosy crimes right now, so am reading books by German authors with policemen at the Friesian coast. Also some German Fantasy.
Cheers
Kat

I read Daniel Abraham's latest which I thought was pretty good. I've also been going through two large epic fantasy series, a Chorus of Dragons from Jenn Lyons and the Winnowing Flame from Jen Williams.
I'm also slowly working my way through C. J. Cherryh's Foreigner books.
I'm around, but I've mostly left goodreads in favor of discord. I still moderate Sword & Laser, but I do most of my chatting on the S&L discord server rather than here on goodreads.
I've not been reading nearly as much as back in the Malazan/NABCC days. I pretty much only read maybe 1-5 books/year and everything else is audio. And I do much less audio (maybe 25 instead of 50).
That's really increased my backlog. I also read the newest Abraham book, but right now I'm working on finishing the last Abercrombie book that I've owned for quite a while.
I hope everyone has been doing well, especially these last few years.

Recently finished the Bone Ships trilogy by R.J. Barker, and the Daevabad trilogy. Currently reading Green Rider series, the Books of the Raksura series, and too many others.

I'll share a secret with you: I've been writing books instead of reading them.
Nothing published yet, but my current project will be published when I'm finished with it. It's an urban fantasy set in Hamburg, and only the second project I'm writing in German.
Also got a new job. Doing accounts for Merlin Entertainments, who run SeaLife and Madame Tussauds and The Dungeons, and Legoland and so on. Best job ever!
