Updating to include my green book about The Green Man -- and I swear my copy of Kingsley Amis' book has a green cover and everything. It was my second Adult Ghost Story (according to blurb and book reviewers) in three books, and I think I shall stay away from this genre for awhile now.The book I read in between (The Secret History of Moscow by Ekaterina Sedia), which also doubled as my plain-jane UF book for the challenge, proved to be much more in the vein of Things I Like, which I suppose should be no surprise considering I hang around on these boards.
My original post has amended. I've now read 7/9.

Rose wrote: "Zoo City is really good, though, and I think you'll like it. It took me a little bit to get into it, but I'm enjoying it! "I'm so glad you brought up this book, Rose, because Zoo City almost got bumped again, but I stuck with it and really liked it. I did NOT see the end coming at all!
I read a lot of great, good and not so good books in this challenge, but
was definitely the stand out!I am done with my challenge. I think my list is at message #22.
Tomorrow's the last day of the challenge. I have one book left, but I also have the new Neil Gaiman book waiting for me at the library, so I think I'm going to have to call this one incomplete with 8 of 9 books read.
I also only read 8 out of my 9 challenge books this time :( Ironically, the book I did not get to was the yo-yo book...sheesh!

Melissa wrote: "I also only read 8 out of my 9 challenge books this time :( Ironically, the book I did not get to was the yo-yo book...sheesh!"This made me smile. I have so many of them myself.
Congratulations to the finishers! And the almost-there's!Sorry the next challenge isn't up yet, but life and a nasty bug took me out for a few days. Hopefully, I can get it together tomorrow.
Thanks. I'm feeling much better today! And here is the next challenge:
