Please choose some recs from my PIFM-shelf - thank you :)

Please pick primarily from my to-read-asap shelf - thanks! (I need to find some time to update that shelf this week!!)

For the first time since joining , I missed the deadline and forgot :(:(:(:(

I am going to try to have your picks up this afternoon-but it seems that work keeps getting in the way! lol!! So if not by tonight...definitely by tomorrow!

wow, I really thought this was going to be tomorrow for some reason. Yay surprises! :)
Photojim - I'll have your picks up after I get home from work today!

You read shelf is massive, most of my go to recs you've already read, so I had to dig a little. Hope they are ok.

1. April Fools Day (April 1) – Driving Mr. Dead
This a short light-hearted and humorous read.
2. April Showers bring May Flowers – Enchantment
I love this twist on Sleeping Beauty, with magic and time travel thrown in.
3. U.S. Tax Day (April 15) – Enchanted, Inc.
Cute and fun.
4.Major League Baseball Opening Day – Changing The Game
Baseball and for the cover if nothing else.
5. April’s birthstone: Diamond – Playing with Fire by Mia Dymond
Hot & dirty on a frie truck... no other words are necessary.
6. Earth Day (April 22)- Immortal Rider
What bigger environmental issue is there than the Apocalypse.
7. Patriot’s Day Across the Universe
The romance in this one takes a back seat to a great plot, but it does have a runner.
8. Drop Everything and Read (April 12) Seize the Night
Sherrilyn Kenyon is my favorite author. We are doing a year long buddy read over at The Lost Challenges Group. We are starting book 7 in April and it looks like that is where you are in the series too. Perfect timing.

Here are your picks! Hope you like them! Happy Reading!!
April Fools day: Hot Stuff by Carly Phillips. This is a quick and easy read!
April Showers bring May Flowers: Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. Flowers on the cover and its another great read by N.S.! Couldn't put it down!
U.S. Tax Day: Eragon by Christopher Paolini. I have not read this but it has high reviews!
Major League Baseball Opening: The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton. Even though it is baseball season(yuck)-football is still an outdoor sport and more my kind of "play"! Plus it doesn't hurt to look at the cover! ;)
April's Birthstone: When You Give a Duke a Diamond by Shana Galen. Looks really interesting...so it was added to my TBR too!
Earth Day: Bridleton by Becky Barker. Have not read it-but it looks promising.
Patriot's Day: A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster. A continuation of the "Men Who Walk The Edge Of Honor" series...plus I love Lori Foster!
D.E.A.R.: Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. A Christian fiction that was given to me by a friend...I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Hope you will be too!

I had fun picking these out for you. I hope you find something that looks interesting. =) I was going for a variety and these are all books that I have read except for one of them.
1. April Fools Day (April 1) – Recommend a book that is light-hearted and humorous and can be blissful start to the month. Or where a character fools/tricks another.
Wallbanger by Alice Clayton - cute/light-hearted
My False Heart by Liz Carlyle - trickery
Gone for Good by Harlan Coben - fools/tricks

2. April Showers bring May Flowers – Recommend a book that has flowers on the cover or has a character with a flowery name or likes gardening. (Ex. April’s flower is Daisy).
Wildflower Hill by Kimberley Freeman - I really enjoyed this one.
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen - One of my favorite young adult books.

3. U.S. Tax Day (April 15) – Recommend a book where money is an issue, where a character owes money or is expecting to receive money (i.e. inheritance). Or recommend a book where a character works as an accountant, or there is plot of embezzlement involved.
Getting Rid of Bradley by Jennifer Crusie
Naked in Death by J.D. Robb - A great series!

4.Major League Baseball Opening Day – Recommend a book with outdoors as a setting. Or involves outdoor sports/activity.
Just One Day by Gayle Forman - I just read this and it was great!

5. April’s birthstone: Diamond – Recommend a book where diamond is part of the title/author' name or has significance in the book.
Nearlyweds by Beth Kindrick - Cute!
Jewel’s of the Sun by Nora Roberts - I think this fits the category, but it has been awhile since I have read it! This is one of my favorite books by this author.

6. Earth Day (April 22) are planned to inspire attentiveness and admiration for the Earth's surroundings – Recommend a book with environmental issues. Or read a book with characters that work with their hands (farmers, ranchers, etc).
Comanche Moon by Catherine Anderson - A nice change for me. I had never read a book with American Indian tribes and I loved it.

7. Patriot’s Day in observance of the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolutionary War – Recommend a book with character(s) involved in the military or private para military groups. Or recommend a book that is fast action-packed. Or since it is also the start of the Boston Marathon, recommend a book where the character is a runner.
Dark Lover by J.R. Ward - One of the best series ever!
The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan

8. Drop Everything and Read (April 12) D.E.A.R is a national month-long celebration of reading designed to remind folks of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their lives – is a free for all. Recommend one of your favorite books that have not been read yet by your pickee. Introduce a new subgenre of romance or another genre entirely.
Mine Til Midnight by Lisa Kleypas
The Host by Stephenie Meyer

You read shelf is massive, most of my go to recs you've already read, so I had to dig a little. Hope thier ok.
Thank you for the picks. I know my read list is massive. I will definantly read.

Since I already have those books. I will look for the other ones as well.

here are my picks for you. I hope you find something you'd like to read.
1. April Fools Day (April 1)
I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.
You have enjoyed several books by her, this is the latest.
2. April Showers bring May Flowers
Daisy's Back In Town by Rachel Gibson.
This book was on your TBR. I thought it fits perfectly with this catagory.
3. U.S. Tax Day (April 15)
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes.
One of my favorite books I have read lately. There is money and inheritance both in the story but most of all this is a very unusual lovestory.
4.Major League Baseball Opening Day
The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton.
Involves sport, cover looks really good.
5. April’s birthstone: Diamond
Diamond Bay by Linda Howard.
Good romantic suspense book.
6. Earth Day (April 22)
Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James
Well, cowboys work with their hands in the ranches so it should be good.
7. Patriot’s Day
Forged in Fire by Trish McCallan.
Series name is Red-Hot SEALs, so there is the military theme and some sexy action.
8. Drop Everything and Read (April 12)
The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Contemporary YA book that I loved very much and it's so beautifully written.

I had fun looking through your shelves. We have quite a bit in common, I hope you find something here you like :)
1. April Fools Day (April 1) – Humor on home page
Falling for the Ghost of You- from your tbr and I am reading it this month- buddy read?
2. April Showers bring May Flowers – both from your tbr
Beyond Eden-'a garden of eden tale'
Falling Into Youby Jasinda Wilder- author's name sounded flowery to me
3. U.S. Tax Day (April 15) –both on your tbr
Beauty From Pain-rich guy- buddy read?
Pushing the Limits- she tutors student for needed money- buddy read?
4.Major League Baseball Opening Day –
Undeniable- bikers who spend a lot of time outdoors- crazy, great read
On the Island- stranded outdoors, swim, fish, hike- great story
Off Sides- hockey player- awesome book- current Ask An Author guest :)
5. April’s birthstone: Diamond – really stretched it here- both from your tbr
Arouse- getting lots of diamonds can be arousing?
Want- lots of people 'want' diamonds?
6. Earth Day (April 22)- sexy ranchers
Rocky Mountain Heat- sexy and sweet
7. Patriot’s Day -
REAL- track star
Willing Victim- fighter- lots of action- I really liked this one- hot!
8. Drop Everything and Read (April 12)- Recent faves of mine-
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight- so well-written, captures that time in a teens life where they have to grow up a bit
Attachments- so good
The Lonely- awesome, crazy, twisted story

You have a bunch of different genres to choose from. I hope I got a few you are excited to read this April. Enjoy your picks.
1) April Fools Day (April 1) : Tell Me Lies by Jennifer Crusie: Her books are lighthearted and simple, yet you will find yourself chuckling at the dialogue.
2) April Showers bring May Flowers : The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. This is a coming of age story—young man going through seasons on his life journey.
3) U.S. Tax Day (April 15) : The Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James. Always a deal to get dowry or inheritance money, but love is never far from these stories. Gotta love the ton! I have read books 1& 2 of the series and it appears you are ahead of me, so keep going!
4) Major League Baseball Opening Day: Off Sides by Sawyer Bennett. This looks really good. It has a privileged athlete and a girl who has to work for everything she had ever gotten. It is the angsty YA stuff that I enjoy. I added it to my TBR pile.
5) April’s birthstone: Diamond: I couldn’t quite get a match on this one so I am giving you three choices:
Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning: I am going to be reading this one myself. It’s a new to me author and series and I have heard such great things about it. If you want sexy, then I hear this is the book for you.
The Green Mile by Stephen King. It was an emotional movie, so I know the book has to be so much more awesome. Tom Hanks and the late Michael Clark Duncan were so moving in this tale.
Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. I admit that I just don’t enjoy this author but I think you do. She always has some moral/ethical issue in her story, but the way the issue is resolved leaves me feeling unsatisfied. Like the “right” thing wasn’t done. In short, her resolutions are unsatisfactory to me. But many of my friends love her stuff so I hope you do too.
6) Earth Day (April 22) Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I have heard nothing but good things about this one. It’s a story about survival and the human courage. You gotta admire a guy who had to survive with a tiger on his ship, right?
7) Patriot’s Day: The Black Lyon by Jude Deveraux. I LOVED this book. Jude Deveraux was one of my favorite historical romance authors and she loved the dramatic plotlines.
8) Drop Everything and Read (April 12): The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
I love her wolves of Mercy Falls series and I think she is a really good writer. So I think you will enjoy her writing style.

April Fools Day (April 1)
Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet by Darynda Jones - I loved how light and funny the first of this series was, so I thought I'd recommend this from your shelf.
April Showers bring May Flowers
Your Gift to Me by Bonnie Bartel Latino has a really pretty flower on the cover.
U.S. Tax Day (April 15)
The Hostage Bargain by Annika Martin features a trio of bank robbers, making money a central issue to the book.
Major League Baseball Opening Day
Surf, Sea And A Sexy Stranger by Heidi Rice – It looks like this one starts with a lifeguard rescuing a surfer so it sounds like a lot of the action takes place outside.
April’s birthstone: Diamond
Martial Bitch by JC Emery features a surprise proposal which should come with a sparkly diamond ring.
Earth Day (April 22)
Cowboy Lover: Erotic Stories of the Wild West by Cecilia Tan looks to be all about cowboys who definitely work with their hands.
Patriot’s Day
Lover At Last by J.R. Ward which should be totally action packed if it’s anything like the others. It looks to be a favourite series of both of ours so seeing Qhuinn and Blay finally take center stage should be fun :)
Drop Everything and Read (April 12)
As I’m picking from your shelf, I’m going to recommend Easy by Tammara Webber which I haven’t read but I’ve heard awesome things about.

1. April Fools Day: I came up with several funny and feel good books here, one from your to-read and two new. First, All He Ever Desired by Shannon Stacey - I love this family and while this books wasn't my favorite I still enjoyed it. New to you, Something About You by Julie James and Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis. I laughed out loud and absolutely loved SAY, I will be reading the newest in this series probably as soon as it comes out this month. It works for the geography category in the monthly challenge too! And Lucky Harbor is one of my favorite book places to visit and Simply Irresistible is where it all starts.
2. April Showers Bring May Flowers: I have two Lisa Kleypas books for this one. Crystal Cove is up next for you in the Friday Harbor series. I liked it, but it didn't grab me like I expected one of her books to do though - still worth the read! Or maybe you want to go back and read more in the Wallflower series. Lillian, Daisy's sister, is the heroine in It Happened One Autumn*, the next book in the series for you. I loved all of those books!
3. U.S. Tax Day: OK, books with money as an issue - that was harder than I thought, but I did come up with a few - all from your to-read shelf too,to save you money! =) First, Dragon Bound* by Thea Harrison - great, fun read! I loved Pia and Dragos! Second, Bared to You* by Sylvia Day - two really messed up people coming together and trying to make it work. Third, Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James - you've seen all the hype, don't you want to make up your own mind?
4. Major League Baseball Opening Day: I simply cannot resist suggesting

5. April's Birthstone: This one was much harder than I expected! But I found a couple! At Grave's End* by Jeaniene Frost, it seems you liked the first two but haven't continued with the series - maybe now is a good time! Dark Lover by J.R. Ward, I have been rereading this series for the Year Long J.R. Ward Buddy Read challenge and really enjoying it!
6. Earth Day: I found several books for this category. First up is Extreme Exposure* by Pamela Clare, it deals with toxic waste and environmental pollution. It isn't my favorite in the series, but it is a favorite series and none of them are a disappointment! Next is Wild Heat by Bella Andre - this one deals with wildland fires and works as an A author in the monthly challenge too! Since much of this book takes place with them living on their own on a deserted island I think it fits, On the Island* by Tracey Garvis-Graves. I was really concerned with how this storyline would work, but was more than pleasantly surprised by the book - it was very good!
7. Patriot's Day: Oh boy, you have Midnight Man by Lisa Marie Rice on your shelf and haven't read it?! I had to suggest it here! Loved it!! But if you want to try one of her more recent books, how about Into the Crossfire instead? Another idea might be to continue with Maya Banks KGI series, Hidden Away is next for you. I love those Kelly boys!
8. D.E.A.R.: Wow, this was hard! I tried to narrow it down to a few that you might like. First is a book that I found to be very profound and very touching, I laughed and I cried - Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed. I couldn't put it down. Another book that I just adored was Water for Elephants* by Sara Gruen. I put an asterisk there, but I just wanted to say how very good the audio of this book was! It isn't a romance, but it leaves you with the same sort of fuzzy feeling a really great romance does at the end! I only saw one Eloisa James book on your shelf and it wasn't read, so I wanted to suggest her Fairy Tale series here. I loved A Kiss at Midnight*, the first book and the second book, When Beauty Tamed the Beast*, was even better! Now this might be pushing your limits, but I thought I would throw it out there anyway - A Reason To Believe*. We read it in March for the M/M Buddy Read and I was very impressed - it has mystery, ghosts and a really sweet romance.
Happy Reading!!

Loved your shelf! Got a lot of recomendation for my TBR from it! Here are my recs for you.
