Heather (hersecretsmile) | 49 comments I am currently reading: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline , Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia and Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick . However, I am focusing on Ready Player One right now because it's due back to the library in a couple days.

message 253: by Riya (new)

Riya I've been meaning to read Ready Player One and what'd you think of Beautiful Creatures- I just got it from the library

It is really good I recommend it to you, its not as good as the Maximum Ride series but, well, Max Ride books are some of the best books I have ever read.
Witch and Wizard is a great book, you should read it!

Riya I'll definitely get it!! I have to admit Maximum Ride went really downhill though after the first few books...

Erin LM | 160 comments Im just starting to read Angel and I think the author really handles the subject he chose for the books, the end of Fang was something that I really didn't like and also all that global warming theme but the rest I think that it was really well written and I couldn't leave the books.
Still, Im loving them.

message 257: by Riya (new)

Riya I don't know, Max annoyed me and my favorite character was Fang, so after they had there little split-up I was pretty much done with the whole thing. Also, my least favorite character was Angel- so I never bothered reading the book with her name as the title :p I still don't understand why Dylan had to be introduced- couldn't she have stayed happy with Fang?!?!?!?

message 258: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Tariah | 4 comments I just finish reading Insurgent!!! IT was completely awesome.. im waiting impatiently for Allegiant. but i may read Free Four. i dont know just yet!

Yes, I didnt like when Dylan appeared (And also Brigid), little Angel was really scary sometimes (how can a 6 year old be scary?!?!)
Fang, Nudge and Max were my favorite characters (I love when they are sarcastic) but I didn't like the heartbroken Max I preferred when she was the strong leader who took decisions in the blink of an eye.
So until now Im happy with the first 6 books, and Im not really interested in the next ones but I hope they recover.

Me too!
You should read free four, its fast to read but also very interesting.
I think that the name of the third book would be better if it finished with -gent because of the other 2 books. Anyway Allegiant is a good title.

I really enjoyed Beautiful Creatures! It was refreshing in the fact that it didn't have a love triangle. Although the romance between Ethan and Lena is definitely a key element.

Exactly!! You'll have to tell me if the last few are good because then I might pick them up again. You do have a point- at first Max was pretty awesome, but after awhile she was just plain frustrating.
