I was the same way with the last two books, even though I really enjoyed them. Fire and Ash took me almost 2 weeks to read and I 4-starred it haha. I think the series hits some dead spots(pun intended) where it's honestly just an okay read, but when it does hit it's stride it's great. So when I add the lows and highs together I come out with a very good series. not a favorite, but one I like more than most.
Finished
and absolutely loved it(didn't love Legend, btw). I saw some people post about disliking the main character, but I absolutely loved her.Up next,
I recently finished Alice in No-Man's-Land
, which was very good.I'm now listening to The 5th Wave
as an audio book and I'm almost done. It's great so far. I'm looking forward to the movie release in January 2016. I'm also reading Library of Souls
.
Just finished
book 3. If you havent read this you should check out the series seriously 5 stars for me and some of the best one liners ever!!
I finished
this morning. Loved it. First book was better through the first 1/3 or so, but this one ended stronger IMO.Up next,

I totally need to reread The 5th Wave before the movie release - I can't wait!!

The main character is definitely different and more villainous than the typical YA heroine, but I thought she was awesome!
I'm currently reading
and it's pretty awesome so far. Over Thanksgiving break I read some non-dystopian stuff:
I'm reading Teresa of the New World
which is YA, but not dystopian.I'm also listening to More Than This
, which is YA also. I am not sure what to make of it yet. It is kind of like the series "Lost" where there are mysteries that seem impossible to explain rationally. So I'll have to keep reading and wait and see if the author can pull it off.
I am currently reading:
(The Shadow Behind The Stars)
I just finished reading:
(Zeroes)
I'm wondering about:
....
(Unwind)
I've been able to get a link to read it free...is it any good?

I loved
. It has an absurd premise, but the author makes it work. You just have to accept the premise for the sake of the story. I listened to it via an audio book.

and am absolutely loving Daemon's POV!!"Oh gosh - I didn't even know this existed! Obviously I have to check it out!
I'm currently reading
!!! :)Also rereading
and finally getting around to reading
(I feel like a bad nerd for not reading it until now! haha)
I'm just about to start Winter
as well, but as an audio book. I just found out that there is a Lunar Chronicles book 3.5 call Fairest
. Does anyone know if it matters if I read Winter first, then Fairest? I'm thinking it probably doesn't matter the order I read them in, but I'm not sure.

I am in such a reading slump!! :( :( :(All the books sound boring except ones I've already read a billion times. Sigh.
Going on vacation this week though so I'll have to read lots while I'm laying by the pool, so maybe that will force me out of it!

Maybe you need to branch off and read something outside of your normal genre. Sometimes that breaks a slump for me. :)
