That's pretty awesome!
I finished
this morning. A good, creepy comic read. Quite enjoyed it.I decided I'm gonna read
next since I got lucky to get it before people at the library started putting holds on it.
Wren wrote: "Maggie Stiefvater is the best. She's a crazy whackjob sometimes, though. (She made a video of her playing the ukulele to explain how to say her last name.)"You just made me like her more haha.
Yup, just finished the evolution of mara dyer and it was amazing!!! I cannot wait to read the last one!!! I will most likely be busy for the next couple of days so that really sucks :( I have to know what happens!!!!!
Alison wrote: "Yup, just finished the evolution of mara dyer and it was amazing!!! I cannot wait to read the last one!!! I will most likely be busy for the next couple of days so that really sucks :( I have to..."I Heard the Mara Dyer book are great and i want to start them soon!!!
I finished
last night. Really liked it, but in this particular story that had a lot more to do with plot than character. I will say, I heard Emma Watson is supposed to play the lead character in a movie and I just cannot see that. Then this morning I read 3 of the 6 Amulet graphic novels
I don't know how many of you guys read comics/gn's, but this series would technically count as YA and has an awesome female lead many seem to be in search of. Plus it's just so good.Up next I'll probably read
I'm reading:'City of Savages' by Lee Kelly right now
I just finished 'The Playlist for the Dead' by Michelle Falkoff. I'm not sure about it. I really don't know. It's only...okay.
I'm reading
and it's definitely living up to the hype! I seriously wish I didn't have to prep for class tomorrow so I could just read!
I am super excited to read that!!! I may have to go ahead and get it asap. Just bought gone girl and gonna try it out. Mayb after I'll try it. I wanted to take a break from series nd read some stand alones. But my next series is the monstermologist!!
Ariana wrote: "Im currently reading fangirl but its taking me along time even though i love the writing style"Oh I love that book! I've actually been meaning to reread it sometime!

But I totally understand wanting to stay away from series - I have like a hundred started (that's actually probably not an exaggeration!).
Reading gone girl! It's pretty good so far, only to page 123ish. Anxious to see where this all leads
I'm on 'My Heart and Other Blackholes'. And I finished 'The Last Time We Say Goodbye' yesterday. I got all teared-up...
Not sure what to read. I wanted to start the monstermologist but I am not in the mood for a series. I am supposed to be getting a cold legacy today so I may read that and then the red queen. Then wonder, then the monstermologist, sounds like a plan :)
I'm almost finished with
which is not my normal kind of book, but it's so good. I still haven't finished
- I'm just not into it. Very disappointing because I loved the previous two books. I'm definitely going to finish it because it's the last one and I only have like 100 pages left. And then...? Not sure. Just got
from the library so that'll probably be next.
I finished reading
last night and am still enjoying the series a lot. One more book left.I started
this morning. I liked the first book, but really debated whether or not I'd keep reading the series. A couple chapters in and I'm already glad I did. Instantly liked it better than book 1.

Yeah I actually really enjoyed it :) I didn't think I would at first but the book surprised me and I felt it hit me on quite an emotional level as well which a lot of books don't really do to me.

Keep reading Theo's books. The last three are pretty good. Theo is a great character.
And if you like the author, she has another children's series and now has an awesome YA trilogy about Mortain's (aka Death's) assassins in medieval Brittany (a duchy that's now part of modern France).
BriAnna wrote: "Ruby Circle!"Omg, I can't wait to read that! Patiently waiting for my reserve from the library...
Rebecca wrote: "I'm almost finished with

I just finished
- I didn't like it nearly as much as the first two. If it hadn't been the last book in the series, I doubt I would have even finished it.

Hi I'm new to the group and I'm currently reading Intrusion by Ken MacCleod and Twelve by Justin Cronin both I'm struggling to get through they are painful but I'm just over half way with both.

Nice.
Jessica wrote: "I'm reading

(I intend to read it...)

Yeah, I finished the book this morning and liked it a lot. I'll be reading the next book for sure and will definitely look up more by the author if I end up liking the series as much as I think I might.
With all the want for good female mains I see about, I'm really shocked this series isn't more popular. Theodosia is an amazing character.
Wren wrote: "Jessica wrote: "I'm reading

Yes! She's tough, but not one of those too-tough heroines who can do no wrong. She messes up sometimes, but she's still pretty awesome! Totally worth reading!
I second Jessica!! *totally worth reading. It was awesome and yes I def livsd up the hype big time!!! I loved mare!!!!!
I finished
this morning. Really, really liked it. I debated whether to continue or not after book one. So glad I did. I'll read more in the series before deciding how strongly i recommend the series, but this book was awesome.Up next, finishing off the 13th Reality series with
:)
I finished
last night. While I agree that it was sad, it was the right way to end it. If the author had taken any other route, it would have been forced. I give her credit for recognizing that and carrying it through. Certain things are exhausting to write and that must have been torture for her.
Rebecca wrote: "I finished

Ruby Circle is so good so far, Jessica! I got a personalized signed copy :) I'm also reading Matched and HP and Chamber of Secrets but I really want to read Red Queen since everyone is talking about it.
BriAnna wrote: "Ruby Circle is so good so far, Jessica! I randomly picked up a signed copy of Vampire Academy at a library book fair - I didn't even realize it was signed until I almost gave it away because I hadn't realized I already had a copy.
I'm impatiently waiting for it to come in at the library. I seem to be impatiently waiting for a lot of books right now!
You should totally read Red Queen asap - it's really good!
I'm still working my way through all the Harry Potters on audiobook. I'm almost finished with the last one. I still don't love it as much as everyone else, but it's enjoyable.
Rebecca wrote: "I finished

I was kind of shocked with the amount of people who hated the ending, only because it cemented the trilogy as a top notch trilogy for me. I liked all the books, but that ending made me want to read whatever Veronica Roth puts out next.
Tommy wrote: "Rebecca wrote: "I finished

Everything that happened was completely "in character." The funny thing is that the actual moment didn't bother me at all. It was the impact on the other characters that I found sad. I suppose that's typical of life, though.

those titles are so confusing - I'm actually waiting for the third book right now. Overall I really loved the first two. I also couldn't put that first one down! Enjoy :)
