or
(assuming you haven't read either, of course).
The other night I finished a couple books
which took a bit to get into and felt a bit more info-dumpy at parts than I thought necessary, but ultimately I enjoyed it.&
which, if you're a comics fan, I absolutely recommend, but if not, I don't think it's essential reading.I'll probably start
by tomorrow night.
I just finished The Pledge by Kimberly Derting which was intriguing and I am now currently reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvator.
Finished
a couple nights ago. I liked it a bit more than The Alchemyst.I'll start
tonight or tomorrow.

hopefully in the next week."Ender's Game was great. I haven't read any of the other books, though.
Just finished Blue Lily, Lily Blue. Looooved it. I want Raven Boys ;)Quarter of my way through Rose Under Fire. I loved Code Name Verity but this one is kinda slow :/

Hanna wrote: "Red Rising by Pierce Brown"I've started that but I'm having a hard time getting into it. :/ I've heard it's amazing though, so I'm going to stick with it!
Finished
and liked it about as much as the first two, which is enough to finish the series, but not enough to get too excited about it. Really recommend it for readers in their tweens-early teens years.Next up,
which I got for an R2R.
I'm currently reading In the Afterlight by: Alexandra Bracken. I'm having some trouble getting into it though.
Just finished reading
I really liked it. Fun and short, and a fresh take on the dystopian genre. Definitely worth a look.Tonight, I'll finally start
:D
I haven't been reading as much as usual lately because I've been so sick (I'm getting sinus surgery on Tuesday and I'm hoping that puts me back to normal!). And I've been a very restless reader - I keep switching books even more than normal! Anyway, right now I'm about halfway through
, which I'm really enjoying. I'd forgotten what a great series that is!And then I started
yesterday because I wanted something lighter and it's perfect. And I'm still audiobooking my way through Harry Potter. I'm almost finished with
. I enjoy it but I'm not as obsessed as most people! lol

I looved the Raven Cycle! The covers are gorgeous too :)
Just finished reading
. Personally, I thought Legend was better. However, the characters were interesting because they definitely were not your typical benevolent/nobel/heart of gold characters. Sometimes I feel like authors just tack on some lame characters flaws to make them seem more "complex", but they're still unrealistically perfect. But Adelina and Ezno are truly a mix of good and evil.
I liked that aspect of The Young Elites too. But yeah, I still liked Legend more - I just never like fantasy settings as much as dystopian. :)
I just finished
It was probably my least favorite of the series so far, but still just fantastic. Stiefvater's a beast!I don't know what to read next. I'm torn between
(I have books 3 and 4 as well)

Hi, I'm a new member of the group. I'm currently reading Catalyst (Insignia #3) by S.J. Kincaid.Loved the first two books.
Emma wrote: "I'm a new member as well. I'm reading Delirium."I am reading the second book to that series and so far I have loved it!
Hey everyone! I just joined too :)I loved the Delirium trilogy! I'm also starting Marie Lu's Legend Series next week. I just finished reading Snow Like Ashes (which I LOVED!) and I started Ally Condie's Atlantia today.
Jamie wrote: "I loved the legend series! I think you will really enjoy it. How is Atlanta so far??"So far, it seems disjointed. The chapters don't immediately follow up where the previous ended, and it takes a while to explain the events in between. I'm only 40 pages in, so hopefully Rio (the protagonist) starts acting more in between the major events.
I'm excited to start Legend though! I've heard great things about that series :)
Legend was terrific, and the other two books meet the same standard. Champion (the 3rd) was a stronger trilogy-ender than Mockingjay, to me.
Hello new members!!! Man, legend and delirium were the first few series I started reading once I got into reading ya. Once I've read a good chunk of my tbr list I wanna do a ton of rereads :)
I finished
and don't really know what to say other than: Oh. My. God!Patrick Ness is a wizard.
Up next
(the cover on the book I have from the library is better).
Overall, I loved Legend as a series but that last book was a disappointment. Mainly that dramatic finish...Right now, I'm tearing through
. It's every bit as amazing as
! Can't wait to read the ending of book two...terrible to think I'll have to wait again for the final book.
Just finished
Really fun read. Better than the first book. The writing isn't the strongest, but the stories are fun and easy to get into to.Up next I'll start
and probably

Its so good, I finished it yesterday and am like half way through the second book, I can't put it down!!!!

Maggie Stiefvater is the best. She's a crazy whackjob sometimes, though. (She made a video of her playing the ukulele to explain how to say her last name.)
