20.1 - Most Improved Player - Jessica PDX - Again! Again!

Alongside the SRC, I have another "reading challenge" - keeping my patience while I read my toddler daughter's much-loved picture books to her many, many, many times over.

Read a book that shares a title word in common with one of the following titles that she can't get enough of:

Say What?
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
Belly Button Book
Go, Dog. Go!
Big Little
Children Make Terrible Pets

Your book should have an exact match in its title or subtitle; no plurals/possessives or series titles allowed. Punctuation (?, !) may be ignored. Standard SRC rules (including the revised rules regarding children's and comics/manga) apply to this task.

Required: Identify the matching word in your post.

message 7: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (sureshot26) | 745 comments Bea and Midu, both books work. Midu, you'll also want to get your book approved in the e-book thread if it hasn't been already since there appears to be no print edition for that one.

Carla Ruffer (hpaddict) | 117 comments would The Silver Linings Playbook work since it has a compound word from Belly Button Book?

Jessica (sureshot26) | 745 comments Carla, I'm sorry but no - compound words don't work for this task. If you want to fit that book in, though, I'm pretty sure I've seen it on at least one of the Most Read lists from Sandy's task (30.4) and it would work for 10.8 (Pedal to the Metal) as well.

Carla Ruffer (hpaddict) | 117 comments thanks Jessica! I'll look into those

D.G. I thought this would be easy but not so much! These are the only ones from my TBR I feel like reading that fit:
Dream a Little Dream - Little
Down to You - You
What a Boy Wants - What

D.G. That looks good, Dee! Maybe I'll request it too!

It's classified children's but over 300 pages. I'm a little confused by the new rules. Thanks!

MiA (mirhershelf) | 117 comments How about The Book Thief?

message 17: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (sureshot26) | 745 comments I believe that both of those books would qualify, but since it's an SRC rule and not mine, I'd double-check with one of the mods.

Books with genre "children's" over 300 pages may be used for this task
