alright great :) thanks, if you notice that by about the 14th or 15th that no one else is voting then close the poll and get the reading started since we're a bit behind

so i'm a bit confused about what you're asking....pick the top book from the poll and then you could pick either the second place or even the last place just to throw in a bit of variety. Let me know what 2 books you pick so i can send out the broadcast message
ok great and good letter, but just some advice try to make the letter a bit more...bubbly i guess. Like a big "hey everyone...." and a bit more fun, i find that those kinds of letters are more encouraging. yours was still great but just a tip for next time!

Haha I'll message Anna and brainstorm a new blurb with her :)
So how is everyone doing?? How's school and life?
just wanted an update on your lives and the group lol, any suggestions or questions?

Awesome!!! Congrats on the win :) and I`m looking forward to seeing you online more! *hint hint* lol :P

Haha thanks!! And yup I finally got all caught up as of today, so now I'll be able to go on Goodreads at least a few times a week :)
so guys.....i waited to see if anyone would notice....its the 10th and no newsletters have been sent out and nothing has been done for the BOTM now I know you all are busy people so if you know that you won't be able to do something let me know and i'd be more than happy to cover for you, but i can't do that if you dont tell me to :( so you guys really need to stay on top of whatever it is your doing! I hope i don't come off as rude but I just really need everybody to do their part.

Thanks so much for doing that especially since i'm pretty sure it isnt even ur duty! :) For all future BOTM here is a basic guideline that should help.

Ideal BOTM Guideline:
October 25: Open the November BOTM discussion, send out a short letter about how the October BOTM went, and the opening of Octobers thread with a deadline for suggestions about the 30th.
October 30: Open a poll, send out the link and hype up the choices. Give a poll deadline of about November 3rd.
November 3: Send the monthly newsletter with the BOTM winner, important updates, maybe games, giveaways, buddy reads or whatever that needs to be hyped up or told about.
Then halfway through the month we should begin making a list with things that should be fixed or changed for next month.

that sounds good! maybe mention what the book is about then ask the group if they want to do a buddy reads next month, asking them a question encourages them to reply and get active.

you don't need to apologize! just get more active and thats all :)

I plan on being really active this week since I'm on fall break and now I'll have more time because I was doing this after school thing that is now over so I will have even more time :)
tbh guys I'm about ready to just give up on the group, nothing seems to be happening AT ALL and its been like this for like 6 months, i love the group but if even the mods arent active how do we expect the group to stay alive at all. sorry for the dark feelings but i've been keeping them in for a while. This is not targeted at Chantae at all or any specific mod but just in general. So either we do another mod hunger game and hope for the best or i dont really know what to do..... sorry again

Ok so I'm glad I got all of yours attention, but this group needs more than just us wanting to get more active so we need to come up with some solid plans and ideas. I think that we should have January as like a renovation/reinvention and test run of the group and then in February we can officially either get the group going full swing, or.....not. I don't really see any other ideas and I really don't want to give up on the group, so guys please give me your input!

maybe like how goodreads does the books of the year thing we could also do that but only in ya categories and through out the year people can submit nominations and we put up pulls
ok those ideas sound great, lets keep coming up with ideas for the next couple days then once we have a good sized list we can begin to put dates on them. After that I think it would be good for each of us to come up with a rough look at times in the year when they will most probably be completely MIA from the group. like for me I need about a week off this month for exams and summatives, but if I can I'll try to squeeze in time.
So till lets say the 10th we can have idea time, then till 13th will be dates, the 16th scheduling (kinda) then after that we can see where we are and work from there.
Let me know what you guys think!

Ok so then for now lets start a list of ideas:
-Regular buddy reads
-Consistent BOTM's
-Another Mod Hunger Games in the Summer
-Some sort of competition (?)
As you each come up with more ideas I'll edit them into this comment so we have one list of everything.

This sounds sort of cocky but I can, I recently bought a Kobo so i've been reading like a book every day or two, and if I cut down the stories I read on Wattpad and focus on these book I can get a lot done :P but of course if I'm crazy busy or can't get a hold of the book I'll need help.
Oh wait what do you mean? like that personal competition that everyone makes or for a group activity? If its the personal one I may have once upon a time when I had time but I'm in grade 12 now so i may get up to like 60 if like i said i slow down Wattpad lol.

Just a heads up that I'll be on a few times a week (mainly weekends, and super active in late March). I'll also be free in the summer, but I'll be busy in both early May and June!
I think those ideas all look great! I was thinking we could also do team competitions like which team can read the most out of a certain genre or list of books?
Those ideas are all great! Who is able to "take over" this month while i'm busy with exams? That way in February we can just jump into growing the group and maintenance and stuff.
Also what did you guys think of the 2015 Reading Challenge?
