message 2065: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi I am reading so slowly, yeah for moderating at a site. :) Normally I don't mind, but my book is so great.
Anyways, almost finished with : Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend (Confessions, #2) by Louise Rozett

After that I will probably have to use a randomizer to pick between a book that I got at home, or library books or on sony ereader. If anyone is here, you can also recommend one that is on those lists. :)

message 2066: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Mehsi, was the first book in COnfession series also good? I want to read it too :D

message 2067: by Mehsi (last edited Jul 05, 2013 11:50AM) (new)

Mehsi It is awesome. :) I would recommend it. The main character is really great, a bit gloomy at times, but understandable why.
And I love how the chapters start with a word and their definition.

How do you like TCoVT series? Oooh, Insomnia! I have an ARC of that. I haven't gotten to it yet. Let me know what you think when you finish!

message 2093: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new)

Trisha | 30284 comments I really like TCoVT series. it's cute and light for vampire books. I really like Vlad! but he's growing up, so I'm interested to see what 10th grade brings :D

Insomnia! I know, right!! I can't wait to start it!

I'm doing an audio book while I catch up on the house and get ready to read again. I'll start insomnia in just a minute or two. can't wait! (ARC? I'm jealous! LOL!)

I have the whole series at home. It's nice watching him grow up throughout the series. I hope you like the others! (:

I have to stop requesting ARCs. I don't review them fast enough! It sounds really interesting, doesn't it? :D

message 2095: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi *wishes she could request ARCs for English books*But I am not sure where to go, nor do I think they would send it to the Netherlands. :(

You can try Netgalley. They're digital ARCs so they don't need to send it to the Netherlands. You just need to download ADE to read the books.

message 2097: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new)

Trisha | 30284 comments lol I just signed up for Netgalley. I haven't requested anything yet. Because I don't have a blog, I'm not sure I'd get anything :(

I might try that out. Also can I put those books on my ereader then? I can't read from the computer for a long time.

You don't need a blog. When I first signed up, I didn't have a blog either. I didn't get accepted for all, but who ever does? Publishers will accept you even if you don't have a blog. What they really want is people to read and give feedback. Request a book and see if you get accepted. I got denied for lots, so it's okay. :P

Do you have a Kindle? You can send them directly to your Kindle. That's what I do.
