I am currently reading "Go Ask Alice" which was a book my friend recommended to me, which I'm glad she did it. This book really gives you a strong insight on the inner thoughts of an addict. Written by a 15 year old girl, the book is her diary where she pours every single detail, emotion, and teardrop into. It's an emotional roller coaster and you could be surprised, like me, that there are moments in the book where you can relate to her on some level (even tho this was based in the late 60s) but probably wouldn't make the same mistakes or decisions she did. I absolutely recommend and can't wait till I finish this.

I just started to read This is part of an August challenge. I joined a challenge where the host paired us up with someone and we pick a book (or however many we want) from their bookshelf and read it. We tell what they rated the book and then I will rate it. I knew I wanted to start this series and finding this book on my partners bookshelf made me pick it and get it read. Will I love it??? I am interested in finding out.

I have heard good and bad about this book.I have heard it is kind of a world and character building book for the rest of the series. I am a weird reader, I have a lot of issues in my life and love to escape in a book and this is the kind of book I have enjoyed escaping into lately. I hope you will start to enjoy it soon. I hear the rest of the books are super exciting and action packed with lots of twist and turns. I'll check back and see if it ever picked up for you.Enjoy!

I am so far just getting into it but so far I have really liked it. I love when an author has some action in the very beginning. I am looking forward to reading this series. My daughter said I had too...LOL
