LOL, that's why I tried to include some books that were from new series, where only the first book is available because I fell prey to your current dilema last month! Of course, I've already failed with the Melissa Marr book and have gone out and ordered the next two (thankfully, for the sake of the challenge, they won't arrive until late in the month as the third book doesn't come out then).

Soulin--have you started the Poison Study book yet? I met Maria at a Scifi con the year that came out, so I have an autographed copy. She was doing a panel called "Poison Tasting" for the con. It was GREAT. She used chocolate as her "taste test" material. Different kinds (Milk, dark) different brands (Hershey's, Doves) and she told us the work she put into researching what a poison taster had to do to learn their job.

As an aside, she told us there are STILL poison tasters in the world, some honourary (Queen Elizabeth's) and some still used (Middle East, some in the Far East)

Wasn't sure what I was going to think of Wicked Lovely, but I loved it. Wonderful characters in a world that was neither black nor white. I've read the first chapter of Ink Exchange and I can't wait!

Thunderbird Falls, book 2 of the Walker Papers, falls a little short when compared to Urban Shaman. Mainly because Gary isn't in it as much and I've decided he's the main reason I like the series. He'd best feature heavily in book 3 or I'll be terribly disappointed!

Sorry I didn't see your post until now. I've read Sk's Dark Hunter series up until Acheron. I did cheat and read that one a few months ago. It was at the library and I just couldn't leave it. But I'm going to read it again. :) I finished 'Dream Chaser' and loved it. It is one of my faves. Loved Xypher so much and I want to know more about Jaden.

You guys have been so busy! I'm lagging because of all the sewing work! And then my husband took Friday off work. WHy not Monday? Because that would have worked to MY benefit. MEN! Anyway... I've finished book 4 so I'm almost halfway done! YAY!

Tomorrow I'm going to a baseball game (Opening day for the National's - if you follow me on twitter there'll be updates and whatnot! HAHA) So no reading or sewing! And worse my stove is supposed to be fixed because I was freaking out over something else and double booked when I called to make the stove appointment. (Blame the husband who was being grrr on Friday)

OK, I just finished this one last night. It's really fantastic! I love this series!! I can't help but wonder if that is the end of it... I like the author's voice. I can heartily reccomend Undone and Fallen because while I've enjoyed all that I've read this month so far these two really surprised me by how I couldn't put them down.

Making another change to my list. Why is this month so hard for me?? I still want to read all the books I originally picked, but I've had to make some serious adjustments for various reasons just to be able to come close to finishing the challenges.

I'm replacing Karen Chance's Claimed by Shadow with Seduced by Moonlight by Laurell K. Hamilton because I have it on audibook. I normally hate audiobooks, but I listened to the previous book so I know I can stomach this one. I can listen at work, so that'll help me cross this one off.
